It is 2:58 in the morning.
I can't sleep, so I turn over and look at you.
The moon peeks through the window,
and reflects on your face, giving it the perfect definition.
You smile slightly, your dreams taking over.
The little crinkle of your nose, your lips slightly parted.
SIlence engulfs us, your heartbeat the only thing I hear.
It must be minutes that have passed and I have been staring at you.
Instead, it's been thirty-seven seconds.
That is when I realized, I had fallen for you.
For every little thing you do, every detail, I fell.
And when the sun rises tomorrow, I will still love you,
because you will still be all the things I fell in love with today.
