Lauren let out a sigh of relief as the warm water trickled down her face. She was on Fifth Harmony's tour bus... using Fifth Harmony's shower... does it get more crazy than this? Never in a million years could she have predicted this, and Lauren often liked to imagine strange scenarios in her head. She was a creative person and enjoyed the concept of imagination and the wonderful things that the mind could come up with.

She borrowed some shampoo and conditioner and let the stress leave her body as she massaged the coconut scented soap into her scalp. Her brain was working at 100mph. This was not how she had planned her day to end up. Lauren didn't want to enjoy hanging out with a celebrity girl group; it was completely against her beliefs to support the soul eating industry that swallowed innocent people, only to spit them back out again, stripped of all their individuality. Seeing these girls as anything other than a product of an enterprise built on lies did not sit well with her. In her view, they were simply puppets, acting and speaking for the interests of a label.

The other half of her, resented the fact that she was so cautious when it came to meeting new people. She had never been stunned into silence when meeting someone before but Camila seemed to have a significant effect on her ability to form words. Lauren knew it was ridiculous to drool over one of Simon Cowell's many Barbie dolls but damn, Miss Cabello was making it very hard to stop.

She sighed and turned off the water, making sure to wring out her hair before stepping out onto the mat. "Okay Lauren, be yourself," she mumbled, giving herself a brief pep talk before drying herself off and changing into the sweats and hoodie the singer had leant her. After checking her appearance one last time, she made her way back out into the bus.

"Hey, how was your shower?" Dinah yawned looking at her over the top of her phone.

"Relaxing," Lauren smiled and placed her folded, damp clothes on top of the spare bed before joining her on the sofa.

"I still can't believe we have our own stowaway," she chuckled and took a sip of her gatorade.

The green eyed girl smiled shyly and scratched the back of her head awkwardly, "yeah, again, I'm really sorry about that, I totally didn't mean for this to happen-" Dinah shook her head and raised a hand to silence her.

"Girl, chill out, it's actually hilarious! Definitely the most exciting thing that's happened on this promo tour." She flipped her mane of blonde hair out of her face and stretched. "You hungry?"

"Yeah kinda," Lauren nodded. She watched as Dinah opened up the fridge and pulled out some turkey, salad, an array of condiments and grabbed some bread from a nearby cupboard.

"Bon appetit!" The taller girl sang as she placed the sandwich in front of Lauren and tossed her a bottle of gatorade. She returned to her seat and began munching on her own food as Lauren thanked her and did the same.

"This bus is seriously awesome," she commented after swallowing a mouthful. She observed the cool blue lights that ran along the floor and ceiling and the modern looking appliances. It literally was a home on wheels.

"Yeah, it is pretty lit," Dinah agreed, chewing her sandwich enthusiastically.

It suddenly dawned on Lauren that she had absolutely no idea where she was or where she was heading. "Um, Dinah? Where exactly are we going?"

She was scrolling on her phone absentmindedly, "hmm? Oh, we're heading to Charlotte for a few interviews."

Lauren choked on her gatorade and looked at her with wide eyes, "Charlotte? As in, Charlotte, North Carolina? Isn't that like a 10 hour drive?"

"Yep! So you get to hang out with us all night," Normani grinned as she came into the kitchen/dining area, sliding the door to the bedroom closed behind her.
