POV:Thomas Sangster
*three weeks later*
Evelyn's funeral was the other day, ever since that day nothing's been the same. My eyes were dull, face sunken. Everyday seemed just as gloomy as the day before. No matter how much I slept, no matter how hard I tried to forget everything, no matter what everything that happened was burned in my mind. My friends tried cheering me up, nothing worked, nothing will. Slowly getting out of bed I looked at my self in the mirror, it wasn't even me. This wasn't who I was. Walking to the door of my apartment I grabbed my sweatshirt off the floor and pulled on my gym shoes. Opening the door I walked out of the apartment to a path that I'd always walk on. The air was cold and the sky was gray. I walked and walked till I reached the bridge. Taking a seat on the edge I looked out. Cars zoomed by and rain droplets came faster and faster down. Tears fell down my face. Evelyn would want me to be happy? Wouldn't she? Getting up I got on the opposite of the wire.
"Wait!" Someone yelled. A shadow figure stood in back.
I watched as it ran towards me grabbing my hand. Blue hair stuck to her face. Her vibrant blue eyes showed worry.
"Come with me." She said.
Evelyn would want me to be happy.
So that's what I did.I fell.
