Chapter One: My Choice, My beginning

"OK," Professor Carter said "You have 3 choices: Charmander-"

"Char-Charmander!" Charmander proudly called out.

"-Yes. And Bulbasaur, don't say-"

"Bulb-Bulbasaur!"

"-Anything. Finally, there's Piplup."

Piplup didn't say anything. He peered out from behind the professor's leg shyly.

"I'll take Charmander." He ran up to me. Then I signaled to Piplup.

"I'll come back for you." I whispered to Piplup "Don't worry your little heart. Save yourself from the other trainers, too."

Piplup nodded yes. I ran out with Charmander in my arms, next I told him we were going to do contests instead of gym battles. It shrugged; I could tell it was tired. I put him in his Pokeball  so he could rest.

I wonder what he's been through... I thought seems like a lot to me.

I got a small tap on the shoulder.

"Hi, I'm-" He got cut off by a little girl in a pink dress.

"Me too, Jae!" She begged "Pleaseeeeeeee?"

"FFFFFfffffff-Fine." Jae said in a weird tone "Anyway, I'm-"

"Jae." I finished for him "I heard her...go on..."

"Yes." Jae said "Oh! And this is my partner Bulbasaur."

"Bulbasaur!" Bulbasaur yelled out

"Heh." He continued "We were wondering if you would...."

"Go on a journey with us!" The little girl said "Oh yeah, I'm Stacy.  Jae's my old brother!"

"bfewbeywbfyhefyuevfyue" I couldn't tell what he whispered "fhefyvreygyergvyuervy!"

"Oh," I said "Well, before I answer, I'm Kayla. And sure, I'll go with you. One more person 'd* be nice."

"Yeah," Jae said "Guess so."

"Now this is," I started "what I call, A real beginning!"
