The small squad comes back. Every thing is clear. I sit staring into the flames of the technical. I keep watch till dusk. "Raven report to command" I hear over the radio. "On my way" I respond. I get up and head to command. "Raven I have a plan to take this out post"."What we are going to do is surround the outpost and send a squad into the outpost to secure it". " raven you are going to lead the squad securing the out post". "Go gather five men and report back here". " yes sir". I leave and go find five men. I walk over to a group of men gathered together."I need tombstone,wrecker,PAC, Irish,and doc. Five men run to me and fall into line. "You have been chosen to help secure the outpost"." You have tonight to prepare and in the nor ing we are heading out". I head to my quarters and prepare my weapons.I grab my m4 and glock. I put a grenade launcher on my m4. I load my magazines and put them in my plate carrier. I pack some frags and flash bangs just in case. By the time I'm ready the sun peaks over the horizon. I run out to my dirt bike and fuel it up. I go to my squads quarters and make sure there ready. When I walk I to the door they fall I to line. "Head out to your vehicles and prepare them". They rush out the door to there vehicles. The sun is fully up now and the Commander gives the order to head out.
