Patty Coming Back to The Flash...

I was seriously thinking about how AWKWARD it would be if Patty came back to The Flash. This is how I imagine it:

Patty: Barry!

Barry: Patty?

Patty: I finished all my work at college, and I'm back to working here in Central City! I'm hoping to be your newest assistant.

Barry: Um, I already have an assistant. Julian Albert.

Patty: Oh. *Awkward silence* Well, I'm free tonight. Wanna grab some dinner or something?

Barry: If you're thinking about getting back together, um, I already have a girlfriend.

Patty: *Confused* Who?

Barry: You know Iris, right?

Patty: Oh.

Barry: Yeah. *Longer awkward silence* You know, I got a case to work on, so I'll just, uh, see you later, I guess?

Patty: Um, sure. Bye.

Seriously. Like, this isn't because I'm a hardcore Westallen shipper. This is the literal truth.

I mean, I kinda liked Spallen, but it wasn't where my heart wanted to go, you know what I mean?
