After years of studying disorders of the mind, I knew that there was a reason for some of them being there. Multiple personality disorder was one of them. It is sparked by an event that causes extreme trauma. Usually in the early stages of life but rarely in the later stages.

It all made sense now. The three personalities were rooted from that event. The sexuality, the fear/sadness and the anger. It all made sense now. Could the amnesia just be him before the trauma? A fourth personality? Either way, it was fascinating.

He has no recollection of the present. Is that part of his mind stuck in that time period? I don't think he could comprehend how far into the future we were. Do his personalities recall that event? There was only one way to find out.

Scott and I sat by and comforted him. Scott was a crying mess. He couldn't believe that he didn't know this. The pain in his heart was probably too much to bare.

We were sat there for a good two hours. His head was still hung low and he was crying. Scott sat next to him, his arm draped across his shoulder.

He brought his head up and looked at Scott. "Daddy, why are you crying?" Avriel asked him. He was back in one of his personalities.

"Oh, I'm not baby." Scott wiped his own tears from his eyes. He smiled at Avriel and kissed him on the cheek.

"Why am I crying?" He questioned to himself as he wiped away his own tears. He turned to me. "Why is Dr Grassi here?"

"Oh, I just came to check in on you. To see how you were doing." I answered.

He stretched and yawned. He got up and went into his bed. "Well, I'm doing good. Thank you. Scott, can you cuddle me?"

"Sure...Sure." Scott got up and got into the bed.

"I'll leave you two alone." I got up and left the two lovers to embrace each other.
