"Fuck Outta the way son!", I heard someone yelling at the front of the cafeteria.

"What's that?", I asked Kris, trying to see behind him.

Kris and everyone around the table had looks of annoyance on there faces.

"Just a bunch of chumps tryna be seen!" Shad said loudly.

"Who you callin Chumps! BOW WOW!" a dark tattooed skin boy with locks laughed.

"Aye! Don't call me that!" Shad yelled.

"I do whatever the fuck I want pretty boy. " the boy said.

"Chill Wayne! Don't waste your time with these low life mutts", A cute light skinned boy said, stepping infront of the crowd that formed.

'Ooouuu he fine asf' i thought to myself.

"Thats right Drake. Tell your little lap dog to calm down", Kris said.

Drake glared at kris and was about to say something until his eyes landed on me.

He grinned, "And who are you?"

I smiled at him. " My name's Robin Frey."

"I'm Drake Aubrey but you can call me Drizzy when you're ready", he said before kissing my hand.

Kris glared Drake and said," Yo! This ain't your territory man. You need to leave before things get wild".

At this point everyone in the cafeteria was staring and you could litterally hear a pin drop in here.

"Was that a threat home boy?"Drake challenged getting in Kris' face.

Wayne and Shad then attempted to push the 2 angry boys away from each other.

It was then i noticed that Drake and his posey were dressed in all black, like the other half of the cafeteria.

Soon enough both boys were seated far away from each other and everything got back to normal.

"Hey Robin", A girl not much shorter than me smiled as she sat on the opposite side of where Kris was.

I looked at her puzzled,"Do I know you?"

She simply said," No but I know you. You haven't been here for atleast a day and you even got the janitors talking about you."

"Huh? What could anyone here know about me?" I asked.

"Nothing much. Only the fact that you caught the attention of the two most dangerous gang leaders in this State" she exclaimed.

I sighed," Listen, I didn't do anything wrong. What's this gang thing all about anyway?"

She scooted closer to me and started to explain, " There are two sides of this whole school. Every student of this school has to choose one. Its either RCA or OVO".

"OVO? Tell me about it. Kris only told me about RCA and this school gets more interesting by the minute." I laughed.

She didn't smiled or anything.

"This isn't a joke. OVO is lead by Drake as you can see, They wear black all day and all night long. While I am apart of RCA, I wear Red all day and all night long. We don't get along. We've been enemies for decades. The title of being the leader is passed down at 16 years old. Its a family thing so people like me can never lead. Just follow and do as you're told. Like a pack of wolves for example. We have to stay loyal no matter what."

I just sat there listening to every word she said. Forgetting the rest of my food which eventually got cold.

"You said every student has to pick a side. I won't. I am NOT joining any of this none sense!" I said while standing up.

"If you wanna survive here, you're gonna have to choose. Believe me", She said as i walked away.

LAST PERIOD

Finally, it was my last class of the day and I couldn't stop thinking about what that girl said. I don't even know her name.

"Well hello again beautiful", Drake said, sitting beside me in class.

I smiled at him, he was actually really cute. 'Why did he have to be in a gang' i thought and sighed.

"A penny for your thoughts?" He asked.

"I'm just curious about this whole school",  I kinda lied.

He smirked," And i'm curious about you.  Your accent is beautiful, tell me a little about yourself".

I thanked him for the compliment and said," Well I'm from Barbados and just moved here a couple days ago."

He raised his eyebrows," An island girl eeh. I do love the Caribbean. The music there inspires me."

I smiled brightly, " Really? What's your favourite genre?".

"Dancehall and Reggae. I can't choose", he smiled cheepishly.

"For real?!! Me too!!", I laughed with excitement.

"Your favourite Artist?" he asked with anticipation.

"For Dancehall, Vybz Kartel and Popcaan. For Reggae, The one and only Bob Marley" I giggled.

"You keep surprising me by the minute. Me too. Popcaan is so dope and chill, I would kill to meet him one day" he genuinely said.

I smiled at him. We continued laughing and talking and getting to know each other more. He is a really nice guy to be honest. I wonder why he is in a gang. Doesn't fit the guy he is showing me right now.
