She was sitting in her bed room, holding a curling iron in her right hand curling a piece of her dark brown hair.
"This is it, it's going to happen today, we're going to do this today we got this." She said to herself in regard of kissing her boyfriend. For it was their second date and she was so excited.
As the day went by her anxiousness grew higher and higher, but she was able to keep calm due to the fact that she was going to Town Square, one of her favorite places in Vegas.
It was nearing 6, which was the time for them to meet up, so she called out for her mom to get ready to drive her.
Right as she got to Town Square she checked herself out once more in the window of her car and began her journey to find her boyfriend.
She had called him and he told her he was waiting in the atrium of TS, sitting on a bench, so she proceeded to walk there.
After they met up with each other, they went and saw a movie where they held hands and just enjoyed the silence of holding hands and watching the movie.
After the movie was over, the couple had walked towards the park area and had laid down in the grass area to look up and see the sky change from pink to purple, to blue.
"The sky looks so beautiful right?" She said as she turned to look at her boyfriend. Who, to her surprise, was already staring at her.
"What?" She said quite nervously.
"Nothing." The boy smiled sheepishly as he turned back to look at the sky.
She was quite confused at first, but smiled mischievously as she began to poke the boy at his stomach where he was ticklish.
The boy began to laugh and shake erratically to pry her hands off of him.
"St-stop please!" The boy laughed in between cries.
She just began to laugh even harder.
Before she knew it, they boy had taken a hold of her hands and rolled over so that he was on top of her pinning her hands down.
The girl had immediately shut up and was now blushing profusely, trying to not make eye contact with her boyfriend.
"Will you stop now?" The boy said confidently.
The girl was trying to pry out of the boys grip, her heartbeat was growing quicker and quicker. As the boy awaited for her answer she looked into his eyes where all she saw was the adoration and love he held for her. He may not love her yet, but she was sure he loved her at least by a little bit.
It was in that moment she began to panic, she wasn't ready. She wasn't ready to commit like this, she wasn't ready to kiss him or love him or even be with him. She was still, broken.
But deep down she knew it was now or never, she had to do something.
As the girl's breath calmed down, she utter the words,
"Make. Me." She breathed slowly.
As their eyes connected, the boy knew what she meant and didn't hesitate for a second.
As she waited for what felt like hours, he leaned down and smashed his lips against hers.
In those moments, she realized she wasn't as broken as she previously thought. As their lips moved together in sync, their breaths exchanging with one another, her stomach erupted with butterflies. Nerves flying through her body reaching the tips of her fingers.
The boy had let go of her hands, to where she hooked them around his neck and brought him down onto her, arching her back so their chests were as close as possible.
She didn't want to let go, she didn't want his lips to leave hers, she wanted him to be that close for as long as possible.
But sadly, that didn't happen.
The boy had pulled his head back, opening his eyes slowly with the biggest smile on his face, almost in a haze.
When he finally opened his eyes he looked down at her, seeing her face as flushed as ever.
"Did that shut you up?" The boy asked.
She said nothing.
