Cheyenne

As I walked down the street I could see it all. The lights on all the buildings and all the people going about there normal lives. Completely oblivious to the world around them. I move through the croud and around a sky scraper. The client said that he would be on the top floor. I put on my magnetic gloves that will alow me to climb up to the top of the building.

I start to make my way up the building. I can feel my red hair being thrown in the wind as I make my way past the rest of the surrounding buildings. As I make my way to the top I see the glass wall looking out onto the city and I stop one down and pull my torch out and slowly cut a portion of the glass out thankful for the warmth it provides the cold and harsh wind.

As I finish the cut I catch the glass with my feet and place it on the ground inside the office building. I flipped inside the building and landed without making any noise as I moved through the building I made sure that no one was around.

I made my way to the stairs and moved up them. The client said that he wanted me to kill the target with a spacifice knife and he would pay double the usual price. So I was going to make sure that he died by this blade.

I made it to his office with no problems or without running into anyone.

As I moved through the shadows just to be safe from prying eyes or cameras. I slipped through the doors to which I could only assume was the head office. In the chair not ten steps away was my target. I didn't know his name or wut he'd done. I didn't honestly care as long as I was paid. This was all I was good at and all I had ever known. As I stayed to the shadows and made my way behind his chair I could see his head I could see the white hair on his head as I aproched the back of his chair.

I was within arms reach. I moved my free hand to his hair and snatched it in my hands and jerked his head to the side and stabed the knife into his jugular I made sure to have the knife go into the esophagus at the same time to make sure it would get in his lounge as well and I removed the knife as quickly as before.

I moved so I could see his face. And what I saw scared me.

As I looked into his eyes I say happiness and peace. On his face I saw a smile as he died slowly drowning in his blood.

But what really scared me was that when I looked on the desk in front of him I saw a paper. On the paper it read.

Thank you Cheyenne. Now I may rest in peace my life was long. I lived to see many things and I did many things that may have lead to my enemy's wanting me dead so badly. I thank you and hope that my death will be a swift one.

As I read this I could hear foot straps coming up the stairs. I could feal the fear in my chest I turned around. And looked out the glass wall I through a chair out the glass shattering it.
I looked back at the old man once more and told myself I was stupid for not thinking to check the whole building. "I've gotten sloppy" I told myself.

I jumped out of the window and felt wait less for a split second before I started to fall. And I could feel the wind rushing past me. As I plumbed towards the pavement I pulled the string on my pack and deployed my shoot. I felt it jerked as it cought the wind and I started to sail.

I looked back over my shoulder to see the man's guards looking at me knowing they couldn't do a thing to me from here.

I looked down at the city as I said and felt something buz in my pocket. I fished my phone out of my pocket and looked at the ID and it read arlan.

I opened the phone and said nice and sweet " Yes you have reached Cheyenne how may I help you."

"Oh hey Cheyenne are you busy it's kinda loud on ur end." He said.

"Oh noooo, I'm not busy I'm just soaring over the city of new York. Now wut the hell do u need."

I could hear him laughing. " Oh its nothing. So how do u feel about another job this one is in Louisiana."

I ponderd  this for a moment. "How much is the job worth. I just finished the last job." I thought about the old man. How had he known that I was coming. It was just to weird. I pushed it to the back of my mind and focused on not crashing.

"They said that it is going to be a reconasins mission. Only after the information has been ubtaind do you kill the target. No acceptions. The job is 500,000 American dollars."

I whistled "damn. That's a lot of dough. How the hell could I say no to that. Fine. Book my flight and make arangements for my stay there. What's the projected mission time."

Unknown but less than a year that say it's a long time but for the price it's worth it. The target can not know who you are. You have to get as close to him as you can and get the information you need. All they want to know is who he's going to marry."

"OK I'll do it. Make sure everything is ready. I'll be at the airport in two hours."

"I'll make it so. Be safe chey." That was the last thing he said before the phone clicked.

500000 dollars. This must be one hell of a job. Well it's more than I would have made in a year just doing normal jobs. Who knows maybe I'm moving up in the assassin world.
