I'd explained everything to Jack, leaving out the bits he didn't know and then he drove us home, watching as I gulped nervously. "Alex is gonna kill me... I'm at least two hours late."
Jack sighed, stopping outside the front door, "It's okay, I'll just tell him I saw you on the way back and we talked."
I nodded and smiled slightly, "Thanks..." We stepped inside and slipped our shoes off as footsteps started running down the stairs quickly.
Alex sighed in relief as he looked from me to Jack, "Jesus, guys! Why weren't you answering your phones? I was so worried!" He bought us into a tight hug and I looked to Jack, "Jack will explain, I'm gonna go change. Sorry, Lex, my phone was off and I lost track of time." I pulled back and walked up the stairs and into my bedroom, leaving Jack and Alex to talk.
Jack's P.O.V
Alex squeezed me tightly before pulling back and gently grabbing my hands, "Jack... I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to upset you, I really didn't. I love you, please never make me that worried again."
I slowly squeezed his hands and sighed. "Sorry, I just needed time to clear my head and I decided that I love you, I always have, and it's okay if you don't want to get married yet."
"I do want to get married, Jacko, I do. Just... Give me some time, yeah?"
I couldn't help but smile. He wanted to get married too?! "Ok, yeah, I'll give you as much time as you need."
He smiled and pecked my lips, "I'm so glad you're home, I was so worried because Zack and Rian were phoning you as well and you weren't answering. And then Dan wasn't answering either and he was hours late home... I really hope he hasn't done anything with Phil or I will-"
"I left my phone in our room," I cut him off, "I saw Dan walking home and we chatted. He hasn't done anything, don't worry. But it's none of your business if he has,"
Alex sighed but nodded, pressing his lips to mine and gently grabbing my waist. "I love you."
"I love you too," I smiled against his lips, glad to be in his arms again.
He pulled back but kept our bodies close against each other, "Hmm... Seeing as Dan's school is on half term and he's off for the week... How about we go out? What you said- it's true- we haven't been on a date or a night out for ages. So let me try and make it up to you?"
I grinned and nodded quickly, "Ok, where should we go?" I asked excitedly but he just tapped his nose, "Secret... Now c'mon, let's go to bed. It's late."
I pouted, "Aw, tell me? Please?" I made my eyes wide, jutting my bottom lip out.
"No," he chuckled, pecking my lips until I stopped pouting. "Don't give me that look! It's a surprise, you'll find out next Saturday."
I sighed but have in, "Okay..." I yawned a little, "Lets go to bed."
He nodded and we made our way upstairs and into our bedroom, where I fell onto our bed and smirked up at Alex, reaching my arms out to pull him down on and on top of me. "You got some making up to do,"
A smirk crept onto his face, "And I think I have plenty of ways to make it up to you... But I need to check on Dan quickly."
I nodded and smiled, chucking a pillow at his back as he walked out the room. "Hurry up though,"
Alex's P.O.V
I knocked on Dan's door, pushing it open as he said I could come in. He was sat on his bed, phone up to his ear and giggling like a school girl. "Ok... Yeah, see you soon. Bye," he hung up and turned to me.
I raised an eyebrow, not even having to guess. "Phil?"
He nodded slowly, "Um, yeah... Lex, he's my boyfriend. Whether you like it or not,"
I sighed and sat down beside him, "I know. I just... It sounds stupid, but I don't want you to grow up. I know you're 17 and you can make your own decisions but you're still my little brother. I don't want you to grow up because then it feels like you don't need me to look after you. You have Phil and then soon you can take care of yourself." I explained.
"I'll always need you. You're my big bro, you've helped me through so much and I'll always need you. Don't worry about that,"
I smiled at him, "That's reassuring..." I was going to ask him about if he was truly late for the reason Jack had said, but I bit my tongue. 'Its none of your business' I told myself and gave Dan a hug. "I'm going to sleep, see you in the morning. Oh and I've decided," I lowered my voice to a whisper, "I'm going to ask Jack to marry me."
