Chappie 5: What were you thinking

Kaname, Ichijo, Shiki, and Aido all began to run to where the gun seemed to have been fired. Why Aido was going to help Zero he didn't know. Perhaps to patch things up with Kaname. Once there the four saw Yuki holding Zero in her arms crying. "I came over here and he had the gun to his head. I tried to pull it away but he fought with me and he pulled the trigger." Kaname leaned down next to Zero and felt his pulse. "Ichijo go tell Cross, Shiki get an ambulance. Where exactly was he shot?" Yuki rolled Zero over revealing a hefty wound on his stomach. Kanames eyes widened and he put a hand over the wound to try and stop the blood. "His pulse is faint." "What should I do Lord Kaname?" Kaname looked at Aido. "Take Yuki a little ways from here." Aido nodded and put out his hand to Yuki who just smacked his hand away. "No! I want to be sure he's okay." "Yuki he'll be fine. As soon as help gets here we can go to the hospital together and you can be with him then." Yuki still crying reluctantly nodded and went with Aido. "Don't die on me Zero. Please don't die." Kaname hugged Zero to his body. "I care about you way more than I let on and more than I should so please don't give up. Hold on if not for any odd do it for White Lily." "Zero!" Cross ran up next to Kaname and Zero just as Shiki came back. "They said to go to the front gate and an ambulance will pick him up there." Kaname nodded and picked Zero up bridal style and ran to the entrance. Just as they got there the ambulance pulled up and immediately took Zero.
At the Hospital:
Kaname, Yuki, and Cross sat in Zeros room waiting for him to wake up. They had been up all night and now half the day, Cross looked at Yuki and patted her shoulder. "Lets go get something to eat." "No. I want to be here when he wakes up." "Yuki." "No." "I'll stay here so someone is here if he wakes up." Yuki looked at Kaname. "But you need to eat too." "I'll go get something when you two get back. You need it more than I do." Yuki nodded giving in and going with Cross. After about ten minutes Zero slowly opened his eyes shutting them quickly and re opening them to adjust to the light. "Mmm." Kaname looked over at Zero and walked over to his bed. "Why the hell did you do that?" "Because I can." "Zero. You do realize people care about you right?" Zero snorted. "Please. Like who?" "Yuki, Cross, White Lily, I think Shiki and Ichijo are fond of you." "Wow. I might as well be alone forever." Kaname looked at Zero and finally processed and understood Zeros depression. "Zero." Kaname grabbed his hand and held it tightly causing Zero to look up at him confused. "I care about you too Zero."
