~Arabella's POV~
It's the day before the wedding and I couldn't be more excited. Or nervous. My wedding is going to be aired on live television to the entire world. I take a deep breath and look at Adrian. He's already looking at me, smiling.
"You ok? You look a little nervous." I smile at him.
"I am. But I'll be fine. I'm just nervous because our wedding is going to be on live tv to the entire world. Aren't you nervous?" He smiles cutely at me.
"Nope, because all I have to focus on is that I'm marrying the most beautiful girl in the world, who also happens to be the love of my life. I'm not nervous about that at all." I smile, blushing at his words. Even after all our time together, he still manages to make me blush.
"Then I'll just focus on the fact that I'm marrying the most amazing guy in the world, who also happens to be very handsome. And who also happens to be the love of my life." I smile at him. His face lights up the way it always does when I say I love him. It must have something to do with all that happened a couple weeks ago. That was a rough time for both of us. But it's behind us now and we can focus on our future together. "Come on, let's go to bed. Don't want to be tired for tomorrow, do we?" His face lights up even more when I mention our wedding. I can tell that my face does too. I'm so happy to be marrying the love of my life. It's a dream come true.
"No, we definitely don't want to be tired. Come on." He grabs my hand and pulls me to bed. We lay down and I rest my head on his chest as him arm wraps around me, pulling me closer to him. We lay in silence for a couple minutes, neither of us asleep yet, both our thoughts on our wedding.
"Have you thought about having kids?" I ask, quietly, tracing patterns on his chest. He's silent for a minute and I start to think he fell asleep when he answers.
"Yeah, I have actually. I would love to have kids, especially yours." I can hear the smile in his voice and it brings one to mine. "What about you?" He asks, playing with my hair.
"I'd love to have kids. I love the idea of having a family with you."
"Me too. I can't wait to start one with you." He plants a kiss on my head. "Ok, now let's go to sleep. I don't want to marry you with bags under my eyes, that wouldn't be very princely." I laugh and nod.
"Ok. Goodnight, Adrian. I love you."
"I love you, Arabella. Sleep well." I smile and close my eyes, quickly falling into a deep sleep.
~The next day~
Today is the day. Today is the day I get married. I wake up on early in the morning to Marley shaking me awake. I squeal and jump up, hugging her. I thought she had gone home with Brandon and her family. After I hug her, I look sheepishly over at Adrian, who is groggily smiling at me.
"Sorry for waking you." He just shakes his head, smiling.
"It's alright, sweetheart. I'm just glad to see you so happy to see Marley again." My eyes widen happily.
"Are you the one that brought her back?" He nods his head, smiling happily at me.
"I knew you wouldn't want her to miss your wedding, so I called her and asked if she wanted to be your maid of honor." He starts to look worried. "If that's ok." I just smile at him and walk over to hug him.
"It's perfect." I say into his chest, smiling happily. I pull away and smile at Marley again, who looks really happy.
"I'm so happy to see you both happy again." She says, then grabs my arm and starts to pull me out of the room. "Now let's go. It's your wedding day and I'm going to make you look perfect." I look back at Adrian, who is shaking his head, chuckling. I smile.
"See you tonight! I love you!" I call to him. I can faintly hear him say it back as the door closes and I am pulled to the Women's Room. It looks completely different. No longer is it the room I had first met Adrain in, it now looks like a beauty parlor. There are stylists and decorators running around frantically, calling out orders to their assistants. It falls silent when Marley and I walk in, then the noise is back, louder than before.
"She's here! Quick, get her to hair and makeup! Someone get her dress! This needs to be perfect!" One of the stylists pulls me to a chair and tells me to sit down. She quickly pulls out a pallet of makeup and gets to work. About an hour later, she announces she done. Before I can even look in a mirror, I'm pulled away to another station, and they get to work on my hair. I can feel them section off my hair and start to curl it. This may take a while, so I close my eyes and try to get rid of the nerves starting to creep up on me.
Two hours later, my hair is finally done and I'm not allowed to look in a mirror, I'm pulled away to a different room. When I enter I see Hadley and Marley, and immediately relax. It had been stressful in there with all the shouting and running around. Marley had gotten ready as well. She's in a beautiful, knee-length light blue dress and a matching pair of heels. Her makeup was done beautifully. Her eyes are outlined in winged eyeliner, with a light blue dusting of eyeshadow around her eye and her lips are painted a cute pink. Hadley, as always, look absolutely stunning. She's in a floor-length, midnight blue dress that looks as if there are stars on it. It's sparkles when she moves and it absolutely gorgeous. Her makeup was done perfectly, her eyes outlined in winged eyeliner with dark blue eyeshadow around her eyes and her lips are painted a beautiful red. They are both gorgeous.
"How are they going to pay attention to the service with the two of you in there? You are both gorgeous!" I joke, looking at the two of them. They laugh and shake their heads.
"Oh please, no one will be able to take their eyes off of you while you're up there." Marley says, smiling at me. I roll my eyes and laugh.
"Sure." She furrows her eyebrows in confusion.
"Do you even know what you look like?" I shake my head.
"No, they refused to let me look in a mirror." Marley laughs, Hadley joins in soon after.
"Of course they wouldn't. Here, let me get you to a mirror, you need to see yourself." She grabs my hand and pulls me to the floor-to-ceiling mirror on the other side of the rooms and makes me stand in front of it. I don't even recognize the person staring back at me. It still looks like me, but so much more mature. My eyes are outlined in beautiful winged eyeliner, gold eyeshadow covers my eyelid and under eye, and light brown eyeshadow covers the corner of my eye. My eyelashes look almost fake they are so beautiful, my cheeks are dusted with a light pink blush and my lips are painted a beautiful gold, perfectly matching my eyeshadow. My hair is done in beautiful curls and they had put a cute, flower crown on my head that follows the length of my hair. Once I'm in my dress, I will actually look like a queen.
"Wow." I breath out, astonished. Marley looks satisfied with my reaction and smiles.
"Yeah, wow. You're beautiful." I smile and turn to her, pulling her into a hug.
"Thank you so much for being here, Marley, it means the world to me." She smiles and a voice cuts through the air.
"What, you don't want to see me?" I look to the door and see Jake and Monica standing in the doorway. I squeal and run to them, hugging them both.
"I'm so glad you guys are here!" They laugh and hug me back, just as tight.
"Of course we're here. We wouldn't miss your wedding day, what kind of siblings would we be if we missed your wedding! Horrible ones!" Jake exclaims, making me laugh.
"You are the best siblings in the world." Jake chuckles, smiling.
"Well of course we are, we came to your wedding." I laugh and hug him again.
"I've missed you guys. Maybe, after the wedding and honeymoon and everything, you guys could live closer. I heard there's a great town nearby, only about 20 minutes away or something." There eyes light up.
"That'd be great! There are great hospitals here, I'd be able to get a job easily. And Joshua would love it there."
"I sure would." I gasp and look to the door to see Joshua standing there with a smile on his face.
"Joshua!" I run and almost tackle him in a hug. He laughs and hugs me back.
"Hey there, kid, you didn't think I'd miss your wedding, did you?" I smile.
"No, but why didn't you show up at the same time Monica and Jake did?" He chuckles, looking embarrassed.
"Well, I may or may not have lost Mon and Jake, and had to get directions from a maid that was passing by." We all laugh as his cheeks turn a light pink.
"Oh, guys, I'd like you to meet my best friend, Marley, and my soon to be mother-in-law and the Queen, Hadley." I turn to the two women standing behind me with smiles on their faces. Josh, Jake, and Monica all say 'hello' looking awed when they spot the queen. I laugh in my head, they are just like me when I first met the king and queen.
"It's a pleasure to meet all of you." Marley says, smiling at them. Hadley smiles as well.
"Yes, it's such an honor to meet this amazing young girls family. If you are anything like her at all, I'm sure everyone will love you, as they do her." They all smile, then everyone turns to me.
"Let's get you in your dress now, there's only an hour until the wedding!" Marley exclaims. My eyes widen.
"An hour?!" Nerves attack me and my palms begin to sweat. Hadley notices my nerves and walks over to me.
"There's no need to be nervous. You love my son, right?" I nod vigorously.
"Yes, he's the love of my life." She smiles.
"Then there's nothing to be nervous about, you'll do fine." I nod and take a deep breath.
"Yeah, I know, I'm just nervous because it's going to be broadcast all over the world." And the note I had gotten from my father is still spinning around my head. I add in mentally. I have no idea what friends he could have or if they have somehow found a way to get into the wedding. I take a deep breath and shake the thoughts out of my head. Today, all my focus is on Adrian.
Marley grabs my hand and leads me to a curtain set up at the back of the room. I look inside and see the garment bag holding my dress.
"Do you need my help getting into it?" I shake my head, smiling and walk in, closing the curtain behind me. I pull the dress out of the bag and marvel at its beauty yet again. It's so beautiful. I quickly and carefully step into the dress and zip it up. I open the curtain and step back into the room. They all stop talking and turn to me, looking amazed. My cheeks turn pink under their stare. Jake is the first one to snap out of his daze.
"Wow, Ara, you look amazing. Like the princess you are, inside, and the princess that you are soon going to be." He winks and I laugh. Monica speaks up next.
"He's right, Ara, you look gorgeous." I smile.
"You're gonna blow those peoples minds away. Adrian isn't gonna be able to stay away from you." Joshua talks next. I smile, trying to hold back tears at their words.
"Ok, people, stop talking, you can't make her cry, not with that makeup." Marley speaks up, shooting a playful glare at my siblings. They laugh, but nod. Marley walks up to me, handing me the shoes I had picked out. I slip them on and stand back up, facing everyone.
