Karma's POV

"Hey Karma-kun! Do you want to go to the school library after class to study together? Exams are coming soon!" A girl's voice shouted behind me as I was walking lethargically and unwillingly to class.

I turned around, shocked to see Rio. Great, I need to grab this chance. "Yeah sure!"I agreed without hesitation and gave her a smile. Gakushu Asano... I'm not gonna lose to you. I lost in academics, but I'm not gonna lose my love.

Rio's POV

Wow.Karma did agree fast. Well that's great! I took big steps to class, looking forward to the time after class. Korosensei started lesson with a math test and then continued the lesson doing some problem sums.

Bitch-sensei walked in with her revealing outfits, no surprise then teached us about creating conversation and things to take note for the upcoming exam.

I casted a quick glance over at Karma and Gakushu, they were using hand language to have a chat. They never pay attention in class but they always get the top few in class.

Karma's POV

My stomach rumbled. I was really hungry. Luckily for me, Bitch-sensei ended the class early as she had to go for a meeting. I walked over towards Rio, seeing her chating with Nagisa. "Hey! What are you guys chatting about?" I asked curiously.

"Umm I wanted to ask Rio if we could go buy some presents for Kaede today." Nagisa repiled, his face as red as a tomato.

"Sorry Nagisa, I can't. I need to study with Rio at the library today."Rio shook her head.

"Alright then. I shall not hold you guys back. Go ahead and have lunch!" Nagisa exclaimed.

Rio and I strolled off to the school cafeteria, chatting about the exams questions.

This year's math paper would have algebra and I'm really weak in that. I heard your're quite strong in math. Right?

Yeah, it's my strength.

Oh, can you tutor me for that?

Of course! So I go to your house every night from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm?

I'm free at that time! Sure!

Rio walked over to the stall that sells pasta and I joined the queue. After buying our tempting food, we settled down at a random table in the school cafeteria. I gobbled away, finishing my food quickly, leaving Rio eating her food gracefully.

"I don't think the school's food is really delicious." Rio mentioned.

It was my first time eating in the school. How should I react? Plus, I found it pretty delicious as I was really hungry.

"I guess being hungry makes everything delicious."I replied Rio. She giggled and apologised for chatting to Nagisa for a long time.

"Yeah it's okay." I grinned at Rio. Now I''m all full!

When Rio was done with eating, we returned our plates then walked up the stairs and reached the school library. Rio grabbed out her math textbook, pencil case, a notebook, her water bottle and then walked inside the library.

I took my homework, pencil case then rushed inside the library.

My expression instantly changed when I walked into the library. It was the Big Four. Ever since Karma left the Big Five, the group changed it's name to The Big Four. They are currently the top 5 in the school, leaving Gakushu being the first in school.

They are sure going to bully Rio, I thought.

Nagisa's POV

As I walked towards the school gate, Gakushu ran towards me with beads of sweat on his forehead. He placed his hands on my shoulders, asking, "Do you know where Rio is?"

I recalled that Rio was going to the school library to revise. "Yeah. She went to the school library to revise with Karma." I replied.

Gakushu furrowed his eyebrows and sprinted towards the school library.

Rio's POV

"A weak girl doesn't deserve to come here! They have no rights!" One of the big four students chanted.

"Just you and this stupid boy from class 3-E?No way!" Another one smirked.

I lowered my head down, as I really have no rights to be rude towards the Big Four.

"Get out of this area!" Tomoya Seo pushed me.

"What do you think you are doing?!" A loud voice boomed at the library's entrance. It was Gakushu. He was panting and he leaned on the door.

"They have no rights to stay here." Natsuhiko Koyama smirked.

"Let's make a deal. If any one of us loses to you in the upcoming exam, we would obey you guys." Gakushu snapped his fingers.

The Big Four rolled their eyes. All of a sudden, Gakushu fainted. I ran to help him up, bring him to a hospital.

"The patient is currently dehydrated. He needs more rest and he is not allowed to go to class until he rests for a week. You guys are still allowed to visit him though." The doctor mentioned.

Gakushu's POV

After Karma and Rio left, I took my school bag and took out a very special book. It has the pictures of my mother and I's photos. Memories flooded my brain and tears couldn't resist from rolling down my cheeks... I can't simply lose the person I love again to Karma Akabane.
