After Professor Dumbledore finally finished his speech, announcing the dementors being guards and other stuff, we were allowed to eat. Yumm!

One thing I love about Hogwarts is that the food is delicious and the plates clean themselves, so ya, no washing. I sat with the other Slytherins and dug into my food. Oh gods I'm hungry.

Malfoy was telling and copying Harry Potter's fainting thingy on the train earlier, to the amusement of the other Slytherins. Only now did I notice he sat next to a boy with dark hair. I have never seen him before. Or could it just be Goyle getting a haircut and being on a diet? That boy couldn't be Goyle, he looked more like a skeleton.

I eyed him suspiciously, the other Slytherins and the Professors didn't seem to notice anything different. In fact, Malfoy and his gang of friends talked and joked to the boy like he has always been here. But I know something fishy is going on.

He caught me looking at him so I quickly looked away. Pansy, who was sitting opposite me, smirked and said " Kayla, not interested in Di Angelo this time are you? ".

I smiled sheepishly. Last year, I had a crush on Justin Flinch Fletchy from Hufflepuff and ever since Pansy has been teasing me about it. But what bothered me was that Pansy knew this boy's name. But how? Was it me? Maybe I lost my memory or something.

If I did loose my memory, how come I still remembered the rest of my friends? How come I still remember being petrified last year when I used the toilet? There is only one explanation. But it couldn't be... Could it?

After the feast, the prefects led us back to our common rooms. The boy lagged behind, following the group in silence. Nobody seemed to give him a second glance.

As the prefect gave out the password - Parseltongue - to the other students, I looked back at the new boy in time to see him slide a black sword beneath his robes. I hoped I wasn't hallucinating.

I reached inside my robes and made sure my wand was there. My wand wasn't like any other, if I muttered the proper incantation, it would transform into a silver and celestial bronze sword. It works on demigods, monsters, mortals and werewolves alike.

We entered the common room where I immediately dashed to the girls dormitories and collapsed onto my bed. My trunk was already here. I lay in bed, thinking about what I had seen. I swear the boy just slid a sword beneath his robes.

I'm also pretty sure I had never seen that boy before. Somehow, Pansy seemed to recognize him. As if on cue, Pansy strode in the room along with Millicent.

" Uh Pansy? Mind if I ask you something? About that Di Angelo boy? When did he arrive here? " I asked. She grinned like a psycho and teased, " Aww you like him don't you? "

I shook my head and urged her to tell me about the boy. " Well, duh, Nico obviously arrived during first year like the rest of us, honestly why are you asking me this? Don't you remember hexing each other last year? ". She opened her trunk and took some of her stuff out.

As a matter of fact, I didn't even know he existed. I'll find out more tomorrow I guess... I'm tired.

I woke up, changed into my school robes and headed to the common room where Pansy was already waiting for me. How early does she even wake up?

As I walked over to her, the new boy, Nico came out of the boys dormitories. He didn't comb his hair. Once again, Pansy caught me looking at him and smirked.

" I don't like him! " I hissed. She laughed and beckoned for me to follow her out. I will admit something. Sometimes, Pansy is an irritating spoilt little brat. But sometimes, she's just like any normal girl. It's weird how people act like someone else when they're in public.
