Simple Fix

I refuse to believe our money hungry navigator killed Usopp. I glared at Johnny, nodding along as Luffy disagreed with Johnny.

"No, Nami is our friend!" Luffy argued!

"Yeah!" I backed Luffy up, glaring at Zoro, knowing he just wanted to say something bad about our resident ginger. The arguing continued between us, no one knowing what to believe. So in to it, I again, didn't notice Nami come at us. I really need to pay attention to my surroundings. Need some ninja training. Once I do see her, I grin at her, happy to see her. Only for it to fall as she says the next thing.

"All of you just leave, I'm not your friend and I never was. I used you. I got what I needed, now leave!" She seemed so angry and I was so shocked. Maybe I trusted people to easily, this just didn't seem right. Nami looked so happy with us, even when she was scared shitless. Now she looks beyond stressed. Luffy and her continued to argue back and forth as I thought until she said something that drew me out my thoughts.

"Leave unless you want to end up like Usopp! He's dead. Do you want to be too?" My jaw fell open, wide eyed at her. No way. There is no way he could be dead. I felt my eyes water and I sniffled. Usopp is not dead. She then stomped off hurriedly. Something just didn't seem right.

"Usopp's not really dead, is he?" I whimper out, looking at the ground. No one answered. I sucked in a breath, not willing to cry when I don't even know if it's true or not, but my mind just keeps replaying Nami's words. I don't ant to believe it. I've already become so close to all of them, and I'm not ready or willing to lose anyone else close to me. It's not fare. I follow everyone as we move on. I bite my lip as I follow them. It wasn't long before we run into a clocked person. I bite back as a sob as they pulled back there hood, revealing to be Usopp. I flung myself at him, wailing, and clinging to him.

"I THOUGHT YOU WERE DEAD!" I felt the snot and tears cover my face, basically squeezing what life Usopp had left out of him. I felt him awkwardly pat my back. I stood and started shaking him.

"Don't scare me like that again!" I shook him violently. My tears stopped as I wiped my nose with my sleeve, sniffing.

"Okay, but guys, I have something important to tell you." We nodded, me calming down fully as Usopp told us about Nami's fake attack to save him from Arlong. I grinned at the end, sticking my tongue at Zoro.

"Told you so, ha!" I just knew Nami wouldn't betray us. I know she cares. I joined the same time as her. I believe we became close. I just need to know more about her. As Cassandra said, 'learn from your past, but don't live in it."

We moved forward, coming across a purple haired woman who claimed to be Nami's sister, Nojiko. She was really pretty and tall. Well, everyone is tall to me, but still. She offers to tell us Nami's past as to explain Nami's actions but Luffy didn't seem to think it was important, and neither did I. The past is the past. I followed Luffy, running to catch up with him. I decided to stay with the captain on this one. Walking into the village road, we ran into Nami again. Luffy grinned and ran to her, me doing the same. She seemed angered as Luffy asked her to come back with us again.

"Go away, Luffy!! I don't want to be a part of your crew. Don't you get it, I hate pirates!" She yells at him, shoving him to the ground before taking off. I pout. Now that's just rude. I plop down by Luffy.

"I think she needs our help, buddy." I poke his cheek. Luffy has his hat covering his eyes. We stand and I dust myself off to see the villagers have gathered with various different objects. Mostly pointed ones. They looked like they were about to burn Frankenstein's castle. Nami comes running back to the village and stops suddenly upon noticing the villagers.
