We were talking in pairs the whole time in maths. It was me and Shawn together then Tom and Rebecca, obviously. "So..." Shawn begins as I continue to evily glare at Tom and Rebecca.
"What happened at break?" He asked. "Nothing.." I mumbled. "Why on earth were you crying then!?" He whisper-yelled placing his hand ontop of mine. "I'll tell you later" I whisper barley audible.
"Hey! I have an idea come round mine after school!" Shawn almost shouted. I smiled weakly "Sure, I'll tell my parents at lunch and i can walk home with you" I say. "His smile widened. (^^^pic above^^^ creds- shawn.ate.muffins.last.summer on instagram)
*walking to shawns house*
"Now will you tell me what happened" he asked concered as we walked out of school. I shaked my head, grabbed his wrist ran awsy from school. After about 2 minutes of "Voilet! Stop" and "What are doing" I stop turn around to Shawn and he looks at me like im crazy.
"Now that were kinda far from everyone I can tell you." I say as we continue walking down a long pavement. "At break I went to Tom and asked for a lift. It was also an opportunity to catch up with him and he said hes giving rebecca a lift" I said sighing. "I also said 'I see Rebeccas more important that your girlfriend now" as i was reminded of break and tears threatened to fall. "Oh, Violet! Thats terrible!" He gave me a giant bear hug.
"You should have a nickname" he said as we walked into his house and headed to his room we were home alone. "How 'bout 'v' " Shawn suggests "I like it!" I basicaly squelled. "Now one for you!" I said hand on my chin as I started thinking of one. Then I hear a camera go off, I look at Shawn and realised he took a picture of me. "Hey! Show me!" I shouted. "Ok, ok, I'll show you" (get it lol.) he said in fits of laughter. I tried to grab it from him but failed "Shawn!" I whined "Delete it!" I said as i grabbed my phone and startd to take pictures of him.
"Hey! Thats not fair!" He shouted. "Its even now!" I said as i look at the embarrasing photos of shawn making weird faces. Before I knew it we laughing on his bed and we were best friends. The laughter died down and there was a silence not an awkward one though. "Its seems like we've known each other for years." He said breaking the silence "I know right" we then heard the door open "Shawn, I'm home!" Said a little girl from downstairs.
"Oh my sisters back from her after school club, l'll introduce you to her" I follow shawn downstairs "Hey Aaliyah, This is Violet"
"Hi!" Aaliyah said as she shook my hand. "Hi. Nice to meet you!" I replied.
*buzz, buzz* "Excuse me" I quickly say as I look down at my phone and my mum was calling me.
"Hello?"
"Sweetie when are you coming home? What do you want for tea?"
"Dunno mum. I'll probably come at around 5. I might get something to eat on the way back"
"Oh ok. Be careful, love you bye."
"Love you too mum bye" I said as I hung up. I turned around to see Tom at the door.
