Reina's (Shiori's) Pov:

I woke up at 3 am, knowing well that the survival test only starts at 5 am. However, I can't trust what that Hatake said. Even though he is known as the infamous Copy-cat Nin, he still has a habit of being late. I am sure that it was because that he visited his friend's grave.

I am currently living in a small treehoue I built. Life in Konoha was enriching. I learnt a lot from Konoha. The amount information they possess was indeed unbelievable. I studied the geography of the Shinobi Lands and drew out a map of my own. It includes both the Shinobi Lands and my clan area.

I finished reading the Bingo Book too. Shinobi sure have a lot of enemies and rogues. Thus is very different from my clan, whose people never go rogue.

Well, this just means I'll need to take note of their faces, in case I ever run into them.

~Timeskip~

"Hi, folks! Good morning."Hatake Sensei finally arrived. Uzumaki-san and Haruno-san made a huge scene out of his 'punctuality'.

Then, Hatake Sensei placed an alarm on a tree stump and set it to 12.00 pm.

He explained the rules of the survival test.

Uzumaki-san laughed and commented that a Sensei who couldn't dodge a duster will not be of a challenge.

Hatake Sensei insulted Uzumaki-san as a loser which provoked him. The blonde  charged at him with a Kunai in hand. Hatake Sensei flashed behind him and pinned his arm.

The other two backed away slowly, surprised at his speed.

So this is a Jonin. His speed is impressive.

"Ready...Start!" He announced.

I walked to the alarm clock and sat next to it.

"Fundamentally, a ninja must mask their presence and hide. Everyone is hidden pretty well..."

He glanced at Uzumaki-san and me before sweat-dropping.

Uzumaki-san charged at him again, but stopped when Hatake Sensei reached for this pouch... Only to take out a small orange book.

Uzumaki-san charged at him yet again. Hatake Sensei appeared behind him and positioned his hands in the Seal of the Tiger.

Unknowingly to Hatake Sensei, the Reina beside the alarm was a clone.

"Tenji, Format 2." I commanded. Tenji hooted happily and flew off. He seemed really enthusiastic. Well, Format 2, was basically a distraction plan. With the opponent distracted, I would have a higher chance of defeating them. However, the distraction needed the divert the opponent's attention varies. Judging by Tenji's enthusiasm, I believed that he has a huge stunt in mind. And, I know exactly which stunt he was going to pull.

A ear-piercing scream shook me out of my train of thought. I sense a Genjutsu at work. Did Hatake Sensei cast a Genjutsu on Haruno-san? Probably so.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
I hopped around the forest, setting traps along the way. My teamwork with Tenji is flawless. Hatake Sensei was in for a huge surprise.

I stopped behind a tree as I sensed two chakra signals. One belonged Hatake Sensei. The other belonged to Uchiha-san.

I must say that Uchiha-san is the strongest among the three. Being able to use a  proper fireball Jutsu, I commend his efforts. Above a Genin standard, however, below my clanmates' standard. I am only considered as average according to the Ishikawa standards. However, their Jonin standards, judging solely on Hatake Sensei, is actually pretty high.
