Dean always told himself he was not batting for the other team. Did this make him homophobic? No. Okay, maybe a little bit. But Dean wanted to push down this felling and convince himself he wasn't gay. He did this by having sex with every decent woman he could fine, even though the sex was always terrible. Occasionally he find himself staring at a handsome waiter and bartender, but he pushed that off as respect for them being more handsome than himself. Sam sometimes caught Dean staring at other men and guessed Dean was at least somewhat gay or bi. So when he caught Dean with Castiel, he was glad Dean had come out of the closet with a good man who truly loved him back.
Cas has been living in the bunker with them for about two years now and the sexual tension between Cas and Dean was unbearable. Sam often caught them eye fucking each other and made some vague excuse to leave them home alone. But when got back, he knew nothing had happened, until one day when he left them alone for three hours.
