Sick Niam (Family Edition)

Chapter 7

Liam was in the car on his way to pick Keaton up from school and he hadn't realized how fast he had just left the house and he really hoped Niall would be okay.

Pulling into the school Liam headed inside the office.

"Hi, who are you here for?" The lady at the front desk asked

"Keaton Payne" Liam informed the lady (yes all 3 kids go by the last name of Payne even though Niall and Liam are married they didn't change their last names because they are still apart of One Direction.)

"Okay, you can wait over there and I'll go get him" she informed him pointing towards a couple chairs in the corner of the room

Taking a seat Liam couldn't help but worry about Niall.

He could be getting sick, have a headache, fallen, Liam needed to push these thoughts out of his head.

Liam watched as a new middle aged lady walked in with Keaton.

Liam stood," hey buddy" he said as Keaton ran to him hugging his legs

"Well, he's gotten sick in class and hes got a low grade fever." The nurse informed him

Liam nodded signing the papers he needed to get Keaton out of his little class.

"Okay bud, let's go home to daddy" Liam said earring strange look from the ladies

Liam got Keaton into the car seat before starting up the car," how are you feeling now?" Liam asked pulling out of the school

"Uh, my tummy hurts and it's hot" Keaton said in a cute baby voice

"Alright well get some medicine at home" Liam responded looking at Keaton through the review mirror

"Okay" Keaton said

As they approached their street Liam noticed that Keaton had fallen asleep in the back.

Liam smiled pulling into the driveway for what seemed like the fifth time today.

Liam pulled Keaton out of his car seat cradling him to his chest not wanting to wake him from his slumber.

He headed inside....

The first thing Liam noticed walking into the house was Niall was no longer laying on the couch?

"Where is he?" Liam thought to himself

Liam carried Keaton to the love seat laying him down pulling a warm blanket over his small body.

As Keaton got situated Liam headed to the bedroom in search of Niall.

"Babe? You in here?" Liam asked slipping into the room

Niall stirred under the covers opening his eyes.

"What?" Niall asked not hearing what Liam had asked

"Just wondering if you were in here." Liam said moving to sit by Niall on the bed

"Is Keaton okay?" Niall asked feeling his head change from a headache to a migraine

Niall silently whimpered to himself.

"Yeah, I think hes just got a stomachache. I hope he hasn't got what you have" Liam answered telling Niall all about Keaton's symptoms

Liam noticed Niall's tenseness as he explained and asked," are you okay? You seem tense?"

"Uh.. I've got a migraine" Niall whispered putting a hand to his head

"Oh I'm sorry for talking so much babe" Liam said taking Niall's head onto his chest running his finger tips through his hair

"Papa?" Liam looked towards the door as did Niall

"What do need love?" Liam asked

Keaton walked toward the bed climbing on laying on top of Liam lap.

"You left me" Keaton whimpered making Liam frown

"Sorry buddy, daddy needed me too" Liam said taking one hand rubbing his little boys back

"It's okay, can I sleep with you?" Keaton whispered looking at his papa with hopeful eyes

"Of course, let's all take a nap before I have to pick up Kian and grace" Liam said getting Niall and Keaton situated in a comfortable position

"Love you daddy" Keaton said laying his head on Niall's arm

Niall's head was hurting too much to respond so he just closed his eyes falling asleep.

Liam placed his arm around Keaton and Niall setting an alarm quietly, making sure it doesn't hurt Niall's head too bad but make sure it wakes him up to get the kids.

All boys fell asleep in each others embrace enjoying the comfort:)
