XXV. - Stairway To Heaven -

RJ started to tiptoe when he reached the top of the stairs. He then quietly made his way towards the door to Thirdy's room. He took a deep breath and pressed his ear against the wooden door. 

"Open it wider." he heard Thirdy say. 

"Ih as if naman pwede no? ayaw naman pumasok." 

"The hole is too tight." RJ's heart dropped after he heard Thirdy say those words. 

"Asan na, I'll lick it para mag diretso tapos pwede mo nang ipasok nun." 

"Ok babe." he said. RJ quickly pulled out the master key from his pocket and opened the door.

"Gotcha!" he yelled and saw the two on the floor. His mouth then fell open after he saw what they were doing. 

"You're home already?" Thirdy asked. 

"Di anak. Picture lang 'to. What are you two doing?" 

"Tinatahi po yung shorts ko. Yung napunit nung naglaro kami sa beach ni Jacob." his son replied. 

"Eh why is the door locked?" 

"Malakas po kasi yung sinag ng araw. Dad, we're not doing anything wrong." Thirdy replied, scratching his head. RJ looked at Emery and saw her anxious face. He just let out a sigh and apologized. 

"Get out na Pa." Thirdy whispered and so he did. After closing the door, Maine approached him. 

"What were they doing?" she asked. 

"She's teaching her how to tahi his clothes." 

"What?" 

"Tinuturuan siyang mag-tahi?" 

"Really?" Maine asked. 

"Yep love, di sila nag stairway to heaven." 

"Pero we still need to watch them closely." 

"I know. Love?" 

"Oh?" 

"Tayo na lang mag stairway to heaven." 

"Baliw ka."

"How are you?" Maine asked Thirdy after Emery left. 

"I'm okay Mom, what are you making?" 

"Adobong Maling." Maine answered, giving him a slight smile. 

"Ew, don't tell me that's the ulam." Thirdy uttered with a scowl on his face. He then took an apple and started eating it. 

"It is the ulam." 

"Ew. Mag ramen na lang ako." 

"Hay naku ... I'm just kidding okay? Nag-crave lang ako. Yung Chooks yung ulam niyo.' 

"Di ba yun yung sinasabi ni Athena pag nagugulat siya? I'm Chooks?" 

"Shook yun anak. I'm yung shook yun hindi I'm Chooks. How are you and Emery?" she asked, hoping their conversation would last longer. 

" Okay naman po." 

"What about Hazel?" 

"What about her?" Thirdy asked. 

"Kumusta kayo?" 

"We're good. Very." Thirdy replied with a smile on his face. A few minutes later, he left her and walked upstairs. RJ then came in with a nervous face. 

"What happened?" Maine asked, already sensing that something is wrong. 

"I need to talk to you about something."
