The Faulkersons

XXXIII. - Letters -

Over the next several days, the preparation for Thirdy's birthday has escalated. Everyone is excited for his sixteenth party.

"Next week na yung birthday mo anak, ano bang theme yung gusto mo?" Maine asked Thirdy who is sitting right in front of her. He smiled and told her he's good with anything.

"Talaga?" she asked again.

"Yes Mom." he said, eyes still fixed on his phone.

"Kahit Pokemon pa?"

"Ma naman, di nako five years old!" he said and Jacob giggled. All of the Faulkerson kids are at home today because of a holiday.

"Menggay ko, ibang klaseng Pokemon na yung gusto nang anak mo." RJ commented.

"Ricardo, may bata pa!" Maine yelled, pertaining to Jacob who is busy watching television.

"Sorry na love." he said and kissed her on the cheeks.

"Ih, wala. Sa guest room ka matutulog mamaya. Walang sexy time ng six months." she said.

"Huy!" RJ yelled.

"Mom! Dad! May bata oh!" Thirdy yelled and both of them shut up. Maine rolled ehr eyes and moved towards Thirdy's side.

"Daddy got scolded." Jacob said.

"I love you sport but please, shut up." he said. Maine half smiled at that moment. RJ getting called out by their children will always be entertainment to Maine.

A few minutes before Thirdy went upstairs, the doorbell started ringing. Thinking that it's either Emery or Jack since he asked them to come over, the young Faulkerson ran and opened it right away. But he did not see who he wanted to see. Instead, the mail man stood there and smiled at him.

"Good Morning." the guy greeted.

"Good Morning too." Thirdy replied, pulling his shirt as far as down as he could. He's only wearing his boxers and absolutely no pants at all.

The mail man then gave him a bunch of envelopes and asked him to sign on a paper. After Thirdy did so, the guy left. He slammed the door shut and went back to his parents.

"Mom! Dad! Mails are here." he said and handed the entire bunch of envelopes to them. Thirdy was about to go upstairs when her Mom called her.

"Thirdy! You have two mails!"

"I do?" he asked and walked towards them

"Yes ... and they are from ... XVideos and Pornhub?" she asked. Thirdy's heart dropped, he already knew exactly what's inside the letters.

"I can explain." he said but his Mom raised her pointing finger, signalling him to shut up. Thirdy gulped and saw his Mom open the envelope from Pornhub. He looked at his Dad and saw that his face is already covered with the newspaper.

"Dear, Richard Mallory. We've noticed that it's been a month since you cancelled your premium account with us. Please know that we miss you and your hard .... oh my god .... when will you come back? Please let us know." Maine said before she stared directly at his son. cold sweat poured down the side of his face, he genuinely thought they wouldn't send him a letter.

"Care to explain this?" she asked.

"I ... I ..."

"At meron pang galing XVideos? my gosh .... ganyan na ba talaga mga kabataan ngayon?" she asked, giving Richard a look. Thirdy on the other hand gulped, he is once again on their bad side.
