Kaylas POV
"Who is it?" Joey asked.
I bent over and turned the people over. I look up and move out of the way.
"Anyone know who she is?" I ask as everyone shakes their heads no.
Joey lands on his knees.
"No! No! No! No! No! NO!" He cried.
"What?" Dan asked.
"Thats his boyfriend." Shane answered.
They both stir. Joey hugs Daniel as I help the girl up.
"Whats your name?" I ask her.
"Pia."
I help her up as the lights flicker and turn off completely.
"Whats going on?"
"Ok so Joey and a couple other youtubers were invited to a dinner party at this house. Once they arrived they all got jumped by a creature. Some of them died. When someone comes up that elevator someone else dies." I say.
"So whoever is doing this is on a killing spree?" She asks.
"Basically."
"If you're so man as to kill people why don't you show your face? Are you that much of a wimp?!" I yell.
"Yeah! You can kill people, but you cant face us?! Are you scared of us?!" Pia continued.
The lights turn on. Daniel had been hit with an arrow. Joey knelt beside him and cried into Daniels cold chest.
"Kayla, Pia you better be real careful. And Joey that was for breaking my heart." A loudspeaker bellows.
Joey stops and looks up to the ceiling where the noise is coming from.
Pia and I look at each other wide eyed.
"I think we just put huge targets on our backs." I say to her.
"Me too." She agrees.
Daniels body is gone the next night and all of us are holding a meeting in the dining room.
"Ok so what do we know about the person?" Pia asked.
"We know they use voice modifiers, cloaks, masks, every time someone shows up a door appears and when they die it disappears, the pictures of us out there same thing but if you die it gets a big x on it, and that Joeys important. And most of the people who come up that elevator are Joeys friends or idols." I say.
"Except us." Pia included.
"And he sent two of us down to see how we would adapt." Joey says.
"Do you ever think they'll let us go?" She asks.
"We've been here for months there is no way out." I say.
"So he has to let us go or kill us all?"
It goes silent and the question is answered without anyone saying a word.
Ding! Everyone looks at the elevator as I head towards my room.
"Kawa!" I hear an all too familiar voice yell.
I turn around and my little sister runs into my arms.
"How old is she?" Shane asked.
"Three."
"You have to be kidding me?" Dan says.
"Who else came up?" I ask.
"Pete." Brendon says moving as I look at Pete.
"Did you already explain everything?" I ask looking at Brendon scared.
He sighs," Yeah."
The lights flicker as I give my little sister, Allanna, to Joey and she cried.
Pia and I step forward out of the circle.
The lights flicker back on and everyone is still alive. We all hug and then go to bed.
When the clock in my room striked six in the morning Joey came bursting into my room.
"What?" I ask groggily sitting up.
"I found out what the loudspeaker person was saying about breaking his heart!"
"What? What is it?"
"Its Sawyer!"
"How? He died."
"Exactly he faked his own death so it wouldn't look like it was him. "
"How did you break his heart?"
"I left him at the altar and didn't tell him why for three years."
"Oh ok."
He closes the door as I get dressed and head downstairs to eat. The lights flicker off and the elevator opens.
