It All Begins With Love

Chapter 5

Janice POV

  Now was the time to run, I turned around and headed downstairs not caring that I had sprained my ankle. I was so close to the door when I was yanked back, and flat on the floor while the animal was hovering over me, my vision had become blurry from the impact when the animal had yanked me so I couldn't really see what the animal looked like. Instead of the animal attacking me it was smelling me, and it was really uncomfortable, but I couldn't move because of the animals paws digging into my skin on my arms, and legs. I tried to move, but the more I moved the animal sunk his paws into my wounds. I screamed out of pain the moment the animal bit my leg. This was no ordinary animal. Right when he was about to bite my arm the front door smashed opened, and the last thing I saw was Kyle when I fell unconscious.

Kyle's POV

When I got close to the door I could smell her blood. I smashed the door open and saw my beautiful angel on the ground unconscious, my blood was boiling really hot. why did I leave her all by herself I should have stayed with her. I looked up and saw a black wolf on top of her his paws digging into my mates skin. I shifted into my wolf immediately and attack full force pounding the wolf to the ground. I bit his neck tearing meat off of him. This wolf was gonna die today with my bare hands. Finally the wolf stopped moving and I heard no trace of a heartbeat coming from the wolf so I knew it was dead. I shifted back to my human form and put some clothes on. I headed over to Janice her body numb and unconscious. I took out my cell phone and had called the pack doctor to get ready when I came back home. I turned off my cell phone and had picked up Janice as carefully as possible and had headed out to the car. I put her inside as gently as possible in the back. she was still bleeding really bad on her leg. I took off my shirt and tied it around her wound to at least slow down the bleeding. I closed the door and got in the front and started the car, and drove off. I could hear her whimpering in the back. Just hearing that tore my heart out. I wish I could take the pain away from her. It took about 30 minutes till we got to the pack house.
