"But Mom! Corrie was pestering me! She wouldn't stop messing with my stuff!" Cosvin yelled at her mother, as she had just gotten in trouble for letting out an ear-piercing scream at her sister. "Now, Cosvin. Corrie is only fourteen years of age. You are sixteen and you have much more experience. She's still learning." Cosvin's mother tried to explain, but she couldn't due to Cosvin's awkward outbursts. "Ugghhh! Just tell her to stay out of my room! Why aren't you hard on her! You we're hard on me when I was her age!" Cosvin continuously argued without meaning. Her mother was getting sick of it. "Cosvin! We don't speak of your younger ages! You know better than to bring up the times that Kyle was here!" "Kyle was better and nicer than you!" Cosvin's mother began to tear up at the sight of her daughter pushing her around the way she did. "Cosvin. Outside. Now." Cosvin stared as she was pushed out of the house by her mother and her sister. They slammed the door behind her as she cringed at the sight of the outdoors. Soon enough, Cosvin decided to start walking towards the park, where she met a girl looking for her mother.
"Can you help me find my mommy?" The girl asked Cosvin sweetly. "Of coarse, dearie. What does your mommy look like?" Cosvin replied in a motherly tone. "She has blonde hair and she is wearing a pink headband. Do you see her?" The little girl continued to worry about her mother. "Not yet..." Cosvin muttered to where the child could hear her. "Get on my shoulders and tell me if you see her, okay?" Cosvin instructed as she bent over to pick up the girl. The girl gladly got on her shoulders and pointed to a girl with blonde hair and a pink headband, like she had first described. "Is that her?" Cosvin questioned the girl. "Yes! Yes! Please take my to my mommy!" The girl was ecstatic that she had found her mom. "I'm headed that way, kiddo." Cosvin walked towards the lady, who looked like she was in her mid twenties. The lady began to look up to see her daughter on her shoulders. Cosvin set the little kid down beside her mother. "Is this your daughter?" Cosvin asked the woman politely. "Yes, thank you for returning her to me!" The woman seemed satisfied as Cosvin turned to leave. She was interrupted by the woman asking her to stay for a bit. "Would you like to stay here with us for a little while?" The woman suggested. "Uh...sure! What's your name?" Cosvin requested. "My name is Diana. The girl you just brought to me is Hailey, and her older sister's name is Hannah." Only then did Cosvin notice the enthusiastic teenager sitting beside the woman. "Hello there!" The girl, apparently named Hannah, said. "Hi." Cosvin murmured. She didn't really like the thought of making friends anywhere except for her social media networks. Hailey looked up at Cosvin, signaling for her to pick her up. Cosvin did as she thought best, which was picking up the girl and setting her in her mother's lap. Cosvin sat down between the excited teenager and the excited teenager's mother and introduced herself. "My name is Cosvin, Cosvin Tersa." Cosvin stated as the others smiled kindly at her. "Nice name. I think we'll make good friends, Cosvin!" Hannah giggled lightly. Cosvin sighed in her head."I guess I've made a friend."

Cosvin made a rather frightening noise herself as Hannah broke into laughter, then falling off the bench. Cosvin just silently glared at her as her mom shook her head in disapproval while laughing herself. Hannah got off of the ground and began to whisper into her mother's ear. "Oh...good idea, Hannah! Hannah wants to know if you would like to stay the night at our house, if that's okay with you. Your parents and I would have to meet." Diana informed Cosvin of her plans. Cosvin rolled her eyes inside of her head. She didn't think she could last another second with Pixy Stix and her little sister, Baby Bottle Pop. "Um, sure. I don't live terribly far from here, honestly. We could walk over there now if you'd like to." Cosvin stated as Diana stood up and brushed off her skirt. "We live right around the corner!" Hannah stated giddily. "Hush, Hannah. Well, I guess we should be headed that way if you want to stay tonight." Hannah's mother began to follow Cosvin to her house. On the way, they spoke of funny moments in their lives and unforgettable instances of humor. They told stories from the past and some of their most awkward moments. They grew closer and closer by the second; even Cosvin and Hannah bonded a little bit. As they neared Cosvin's house, they began to speak of things that were actually important. "This is my house. I'll knock on the door. Wait here" Cosvin instructed as she pointed at the stairs leading to the porch.
Knock. Knock. "Cosvin! You aren't coming inside yet! Two more hours until dark! Then you can come inside, eat dinner, and go to bed!" Cosvin's mother yelled through the thin, wooden door. "Mom, you have guests!" Cosvin yelled back. There wasn't really a need to yell because the door was so thin a pencil could stab through it easily. "Oh, let me get that then!" Cosvin's mother shouted from the kitchen. She unlocked the door to see who the visitors were. "And...I don't know any of them." Cosvin's mother tried to slam the door, but Cosvin's foot was in the way. "Cosvin! What do you want and why are there three strangers here?!" Cosvin's mom was shocked. "I met them at the park. They want to get to know you so I can stay the night!" Cosvin shot back at her mom. "With that attitude you'll be in your room all night! Now for the guests...I guess you can enter." Cosvin's mom unblocked the doorway and invited the guests in. Cosvin was interrupted as she tried to enter. "Young lady, your punishment is not over yet. You. Porch. Now." Cosvin's mother commanded and Cosvin did as she was told. She sat on the little porch swing while she listened to the others discuss politics. This was going to be a long wait.
About five minutes later Hannah walked out of the front door and sat beside Cosvin on the swing. "Your little sister is a brat." Hannah signified, giddy as usual. "I know. It really sucks living with her every day." Cosvin said in a more serious tone than normal. Hannah still continued to chuckle lightly as Cosvin went into detail about why she was fed up with her sister's actions. "So the other day, I signed into Tumblr an-" Cosvin was interrupted once again. "You have a Tumblr?" Hannah asked interestingly. "Duh. Who doesn't have a Tumblr nowadays?" Cosvin continuedher detailed speech. "Now, as I was saying, I-" For the third time, Cosvin was interrupted. Geez, what's up with all these interruptions lately? "What's your username?" Hannah wondered aloud. "tempered-twilight. Now, I'm going to continue." Cosvin went into depth about her sister for the next twenty minutes. By then, Hannah's mom stepped out of the house and instructed Hannah to go home with her. "What about me?" Cosvin asked Diana. "Your mother is going to drive you to our house in about thirty minutes." Diana replied in a motherly tone. "Pack your bags!" Hannah told Cosvin with a beaming smile on her face. Cosvin held a little 'thumbs-up' and closed the door behind her. "Cosvin." Cosvin's mother said creepily, almost emotionless. "Congratulations on making your first friend!" She continued. Cosvin imaginarily rolled her eyes and nodded. "Thank you." Cosvin muttered, making her mom happier. "Now, go pack your bags." Cosvin's mother continued. Cosvin did as she was told and went to her room to pack her bags.To Be Continued
