Recap:
He stood up and extended his hand. "I'm Andrew Briggs, the history and teleportation professor of this Institution and you must be.....?" I shook his hand before replying."Flame...Flame Coldstone." On hearing my name, his posture changed from relaxed to rigid. He raised an eyebrow and released my hand before muttering. "Hmm....interesting...."

"Have a seat, Ms Coldstone and you too Mr Peterson." Professor Briggs gestured towards his desk . The way he looked at me caused goosebumps to erupt on my skin. Not in a romantic way though.
I took a seat, while Sky sat beside me. Professor Briggs looked at me and then at Sky. "What can I do for you? " He asked us while sorting out the piles of books scattered across the desk.
Sky looked at me before answering." Flame has teleported here recently and she's confused about it , and..."
"And ..? What? Could you finish this fast cause I can't stay here long." Professor Briggs had a steely expression.
"She wants to go home."
"Well ain't she already home?"
Sky looked at me before replying. "She wishes to go back from where she has come."
Professor Briggs's eyebrows shot up at that."Hmm..well, sadly you wouldn't be able to teleport right now." He said adjusting his thick rimmed glasses.
"Why can't I ?" Man, I felt like climbing over the desk and giving him a good beating.
"The committee has blocked the teleportation. We can't risk it now. Anyone who would try to teleport, would be blocked and if found, they are bound to be severely punished. Be happy that they blocked the teleportation right after you teleported ,or else you could have been punished ." He replied with a knowing look on his face.
What am I going to do?...How am I gonna return home?
"Then h-how am I going to go back?" My voice was barely a whisper.
Will I ever be able to meet Riley again? Hell, I am missing aunt Cara too.
"As I said you can't go back right now. If it's really important and really urgent you'll have to first get the permission from the committee, which is nearly impossible and it'd at least take a week for the committee to take a decision .Even if they accept your request, which is highly impossible ,then it'd take probably a whole month to get you to your land that you call' home' ,which is odd .. whatever, my point is that it'd create a lot of problems . It's better if you wait till they unblock the teleportation process. Otherwise if you try to teleport, they'll trace you and drag you to the dungeons."
"And when is that ?"I asked. He leaned back into his chair and replied.
"Probably after three to four months ." I think I just had a little heart attack. No, scratch that, I had a huge one.
"After all, the army, the weapons and all our strategies are ready". Briggs continued. "According to my calculations their will be a really huge war. A bloody one too."
"War?" The word, although was a three lettered one, did leave a weird feeling in the pit if my stomach. Professor Briggs nodded and opened his mouth to continue, but was cut off by none other than Sky.
"Yep, a war against the monsters." Looks like someone can't live without the being in the spotlight. Mr. Briggs shot him a glare. If looks could kill, Sky would be six feet under.
Looks like someone doesn't like getting interrupted. Sky just smiled cheekily.
"So...where were we?" Briggs continued." It's a war against the monsters. Zabrion's been porting those ugly fellows to Zion. It's all happened before. The history is repeating itself." He sighed heavily. For the first time I noticed the dark circles under his eyes. He looked drained.
