“You better give me your opinion on Friday, otherwise we’re through” Isaac joked.
“Oh, you know you can’t stay away from me”

The next few days went by surprisingly fast, except Thursday. It was just one of those days again.

“Are you sure you want to go to school today? I can just call in and tell them you’re ill” My mom said, looking at me sadly.
“I don’t want to miss any class, mom. Harris already hates me enough” I sighed, sipping my coffee.

Truth was, I didn’t want to go. All I wanted to do was stay in bed and cry my eyes out.
I had a repetition of a dream last night. There’s a little girl and, I suppose, her grandmother, sitting at an old organ, playing a tune that I can’t recognize. I can’t see the little girls face, and I can only, very slightly, see her grandmothers. Sometimes I feel like its my gran, but whenever I think that, it just quickly goes away. The next morning after I have these dreams, I’m just a pile of sadness. I try not to be, but I can’t help it.

“Mike, can you drive today?” I asked.
“Sure thing” He smiled sadly and gave me a side hug.
“Honey, you’re sure you’ll be okay?” My mom asked.
“Yes mom, don’t worry. I’ll be fine, I love you” I said, before kissing her cheek and following Mike out the door.

We drove to school in silence, which was fine by me because I didn’t feel like talking. Once we reached, we both lingered in the car for a bit longer, until Mike spoke up.

“Hey, if you’re feeling worse, please come and get me, okay?” He said, holding my hand. I simply nodding, fighting back the tears.
We got out of the car, and almost immediately Scott and Stiles were with me.

“’Sup Julie?!” Stiles yelled out, engulfing me in a hug.
“Same old, same old” I replied, shrugging my shoulders.
“Hey, are you okay?” Scott asked.
“Guys, please make sure she’s fine today” Mike told them, before running off to this class. As soon as he was gone, I grabbed onto Scott and buried my face into his chest, hugging him tightly. Scott’s hugs were always very comforting.
“Oh, Julie” Stiles said softly, rubbing my back.

“Okay, I’m fine. I’m fine, I can get through this” I breathed deeply, pressing my temples.

The three of us made our way into our Chemistry class, and I sat down next to one of the girls in our class, Sarah Jane, while Scott and Stiles sat behind us.

“Good morning, Julie” She greeted me with a sweet smile.
“Morning, Sarah Jane. Mind if I sit here today?”
“Go ahead” She beamed. Before I could say anything else, our principal walks in with an announcement.

“Mr Harris is out today, so I will be your substitute. Please do not leave the class without my permission.” He said, before sitting down and putting his feet up on the table.

“How are you doing today?”Sarah Jane asked.
“Honestly? I’ve been better. Just one of those days, you know?”
“Hm, I see.”
“How are you doing?”
“I’m actually really tired. Watched the first two Lord of the Rings movies until 3am. I would’ve watched the third, but I thought I should give my eyes some rest”
“No way. I love those movies!” I said in shock, and excitement. I never pictured Sarah Jane as a fan of LOTR. Or Fiction.
“Me too! Favorite Trilogy ever” She said, sighing in bliss.
“This may be random, but do your parents watch Doctor Who?” I asked.
“Oh, they’re huge Whovians. That’s where I got my name from, but you already know that” She smiled.
“That’s so cool” I smiled back.
“If you don’t mind, like I said I’m really sleepy so I’m just gonna get some shut eye now. Is that okay?”
“Oh yeah sure, go ahead” I nodded, while he put her head down and fell asleep. Not being in the mood to really talk to anyone, I took out my sketch book and started to draw, as usual. That little interaction with a classmate I don’t usually speak to, made me feel a little better. I got lost in my own world that I didn’t even realize the bell had gone.
