Monday morning, I was feeling better, though I still had a fever but I managed to get myself out of bed and get to school. I threw on a hoodie, jeans and some sneakers lying under my bed, and took a flask of tea with me. I made Mike drive us, since I was too drowsy.

Once we reached, we were immediately welcomed by Scott and Stiles.

"Feeling better?" Scott asked. I shook my head and took a sip of my tea.
"Come here. Embrace me" Stiles said, opening his arms wide and smiling like an idiot. I held onto him tight enough to make him gasp for air.
"You're pretty strong for a tiny little girl" Stiles laughed.
"Shut up, I will beat you up" I joked, while wiping my nose. "Hey guys, I'll see you in English, okay?" I said, noticing Isaac sitting on a bench alone and reading a book.
They noticed me looking at him and looked in the same direction.
"Ah. Go. Be with your lover" Stiles said dramatically.
"Shut up, Stiles" Scott said before pulling him and walking away.
"Hey, come find me if you need to go home, okay? Besides, I wouldn't mind getting out of school for a bit" Mike said, before I could walk to Isaac.
"Sure thing, Mike" I laughed and walked over to him.

"Busy?" I asked, looking down at him. He looked up and immediately smiled at me.
"For you? Never" He said, putting a bookmark on the page he was reading and made place for me to sit.
"What are you reading?" I asked after sitting down.
"The Five People You Meet in Heaven. Saw it lying around in my house, so I thought I'd give it a read" He said, putting an arm around my waist and rubbing the lower of my back with his thumb. "How are you feeling?"
"A bit better than before, but still coughing a lot"
"That sucks. At least I get to take care of you for the rest of the day" He smiled proudly.
"Yes, I'm sure you'll do a good job" I laughed.  "Are you gonna practice Lacrosse today?"
"After school, actually. Coach wants the whole team to practice together, so I don't have to during our free period, which means I get to spend more time with you" He said, rubbing his nose on my cheek.
"You're such a dork" I laughed, before coughing violently.
"There, there" Isaac said, patting my back. "What do you have in the flask?"
"Tea"
"Drink some of it"
"It isn't helping a lot but okay" I said, taking another sip.
"Come on, let's go to class" He said, helping me up.

I spent the first three periods trying to stay awake in class, and failing miserably in Chemistry. Fortunately, Harris was in a good mood and decided not to chop my head off for falling asleep.

"Ms Page," He called out, before I could walk out of class, "I see you were having a bit of trouble staying awake in my class"
"I'm so sorry about that, I'm just really ill and I'm on a lot of medication"
"Mr McCall explained, don't worry about it. I passed out a worksheet in class for everyone to work on, so here you go" He said, handing me a sheet.
"Thank you. I won't let it happen again, I promise" I assured him.
"Good. I'll see you tomorrow, Julie"

I quickly walked out of Chemistry and was met by Scott, Stiles and Isaac.
"What did he say?" Stiles asked.
"Well he didn't yell at me, thank God. He just gave me a worksheet"
"Okay, well we'll see you guys after Math" Scott stated, before they walked off.

"I'm so tired" I said, leaning against a locker and closing my eyes.
"Do you wanna leave school early?" Isaac said, playing with my hair.
"No, I'll be okay. Let's go sit out near the field?"
"Sure"

We got to the spot and sat under the same tree I always sit under. Isaac sat next to me and I immediately put my hands around his arm and leaned against his shoulder.

"You okay there?"
"Just really cold"
"Do you want my jacket?"
"No, no, I'm good. How was your day so far?"
"Same old same old. How was yours?"
"I don't exactly remember" He laughed at me. "When are we going on our second date?" I asked.
"When you're feeling 100% better" He replied, leaning his head against mine.
"What if I never get better?!" I asked dramatically.
"Then I'll spend the rest of my life taking care of you" He said, kissing my head.
"You're so good to me"
"You deserve only the best" I sighed at the response.
"What's wrong?" He asked, tipping my face up with his hand.
"Nothing," I said, shaking my head, "Just really drained from everything"
"You know I'm always here for you, right?"
"I know. Thank you" I said, kissing his cheek. "Can you read to me?"
"How the tables have turned" He laughed, "Of course I can" He took out his book and flipped through the pages. Once he picked a page, I moved closer, leaned against his shoulder and closed my eyes.
