THE WASTE

The beginning

the year is 2294 nuclear warfare has decimated the surface of earth.
Those who have survived the nuclear fallout made settlements to survive their days in their new world whilst others turned into raiders who raided,killed and destroyed anything in their path,others stayed away from other scavvers or settlements and survived by themselves.

The only two factions that still fight to this date are the Rangers who have dedicated themselves to protect and serve other settlements and scavvers from those who threaten their way of life and the rooks and crows Who wish to see the waste under their control and everyone bend and bow to their will.

For over 150 years the Rangers and rooks and crows have battle and fought for control of the waste but at the battle of craven end the Rangers only just about survived the onslaught of the rooks and crows and had sustained heavy casualties.

Now the rooks and crows continue their onslaught against the waste they began increasing their patrols and raids and also started kidnapping people they took interest in and would sell them off to fund their campaign, whilst the rooks and crows continued their onslaught on the Rangers they had no choice but to pull back any men they can and try to reinforce locations that were too important to lose.

Our story starts with theren an ex ranger and his companion Fang who've heard of the rooks and crows onslaught on his own brothers in arms and made it his own missions to end the enemies campaign and to finish them ounce and for all.

THERENS POV

as I made my way through the wastes climbing and trekking through the dust and radiated covered waste I heard Fang in front of me growl towards me as if to tell me something was ahead as I got closer to Fang I began to pull out my trusty rifle that I have used since my days in the Rangers.

As I got to Fang I went into prone on the hill and looked through my scope and saw what Fang saw it was burned down town with buildings the had either been turned into rumble or were close to collapse.

As I continued to scout the town I could see men where junk armor that looked like they just been put together for the sake of protection.

"Raiders should've known they'll do anything to get what they want"
I said to Fang after scouting the town, Fang growled to what I said to him and from the looks of him he wanted to kill them.

"Not yet fang not until we can find a weakness in their armor or someone that looks important or looks of a higher rank to interrogate about what's going on"

Fang about to calm down and helped me find someone of higher rank to interrogate as he began to scout the town he noticed someone with bulkier armor Fang began to press his paw onto my arm to show me who he saw.

As Fang guided me through the scope to find the target Fang pressed his paw harder onto my arm to stop me as if to say I'm looking at the target, the targets armor was really bulky with long sharp spikes sticking out of the pauldrons the lower part of his armor was scraps of metal welded together to provide full protection of his lower body and his footwear looked like a pair of steel toed boots with metal spikes sticking out to give a menacing look to him.

From what it looked like the target was ordering the other raiders around he was also speaking too from what it looked like a representative of the rooks and crows, the representative looked like he was wearing a old and tattered black cloak with a hood that was covering his face so no one was able to see his face from a far.

As I continued to watch them from what I could tell the cloaked man was ordering the raiders boss to find and kill anyone in the town that tries to defend themselves or doesn't listen to them or do as they say, whilst still watching I spotted a small group of settlers that looked like they lived their behind a small building opposite the raiders from what it looked like they were planning on attacking them because from what I could tell they were armed with hunting rifles.
