"Woo! That was fun! Last night was a riot." Liliane said, throwing her arms into the air as she and her sister walked to the pharmacy.
"What part? You seemed pretty depressed yesterday." Quinn let a small chuckle.
"It was fun still." She said with a large grin and a cocky attitude.
"Whatever."
They continued to walk down the sidewalk, with no visible weapons on their person.
The sisters purchased Liliane's medicine as well as cigarettes and a few drinks. The cashier eyed them but said nothing.
They sat on the curb, enjoying their sodas and a smoke, watching cars drive by.
Liliane feels something thud against her head and turns around to see a young girl with braids and a pink dress playing with a yo-yo.
"Why you little piece of.." She mumbles to herself as she said up and rolls up the sleeves of her dress shirt.
A large man with grey-white hair pulled into a ponytail wearing a large fur coat despite the weather ran up behind the small child, apologizing profusely.
"I'm so sorry, ma'am." He kept repeating in a thick accent.
Liliane waved it off, not wanting to start anything now that she had seen the child's father. "Just keep your thing under wraps."

The woman nodded, her expression serious and solemn. She understood the responsibility this took. She wasn't entirely sure if she could manage this but she would have to try.
