Maxine and Troy, two of the people we haven't talked to in a while. I still can't get the image out of my head. Five more days, and it would've been exactly three years since it happened. At the time, Marcel was with Maxine. Myself, Marcel, Maxine and Troy were going to see The Exorcist. I can say it was a scary experience, both from the movie and in reality. Maxine had to go to the bathroom, not to far behind followed Troy. Let's say about 10 minutes later, they still haven't arrived. I remember exactly what scene happened when we left to see why they weren't back. Damien Karras was just killed off by the demon. Around when he fell out of the window, we left the theatre, we walked to the bathroom, increasingly getting worried after every step I take. When we arrive at the hallway, we stood in shock. Troy and Maxine were there, you probably at this point thought "they really think I don't know that Troy's gonna kiss her". Well my friend, I'm sorry to say that you're in the wrong. They were just standing there, still waiting to get in the bathroom. Marcel jumped to conclusions and thought that they were keeping something secret from him. They kept saying that they didn't, so Marcel believed them, since Troy was his best friend and of course, Maxine was dating Marcel. Troy was starting to become less patient and knocked on the door to see what was taking up so much time for the man in there. The same applies for Maxine, as she too was less patient. Troy got the manager to see what was taking them so long. The manager finally arrived and gave them a warning before unlocking the door. No response from any of the doors. We were picking up not so good Vibrations when the doors were unlocked. In both bathrooms, there were the dead bodies of a woman and man, both looked in their mid-twenties. Maxine screamed, along with the manager. Soon, everyone left the building within 5 minutes, before I left though, I got myself a slushy, no one looked, so I thought it was the perfect opportunity, I got one for all four of us. Soon after, we left and headed to Maxine's for the night. She had a treehouse and that was where we usually went for most of the time when we were Best Friends. We did the usual, played a cassette on the radio first. Today, I got to pick. I chose some Led Zeppelin, since I got the latest cassette of theirs at the local music store, The Music Shack. While it was on, we were about to play a game of cards, but there were a change of events. We saw a pair of headlights, unusual at the time, but we ignored it. That is until they started honking the horn. Marcel looked out in the window. "Anyone own a 1967 Chevy Impala?" Marcel said silently. Marcel was the Car fanatic, give him any car and he'll name it off. Troy rose up quickly to look out the window to see that it was his older brother, Topher. As he went down the tree, we followed. We were basically running over to the car, so much in fact, Marcel tripped up, nearly missed a pile of crap in the face. When we arrived, Topher pulled down the window, "Mom heard about what happened at the theatre and now she's worried but pissed at the same time. So I'd say it's best to get in here now before SHE goes out to murder someone". Troy got in and Topher sped off. Myself and Maxine decided to stay at her house for the night while Marcel took his bike home. Me and Maxine were pretty much only talking about what happened tonight, wondering who killed the people in the bathroom and what happened to Troy. Part of this was answered when Troy had left the town two days later. Not even a goodbye before he left.
