The Outcast

                         NO WAIT STOP! DONT DO THIS! ITS NOT FAIR! FUCK ALL OF YOU, GO BURN IN HELL! WHERE ARE YOU TAKING ME?! NO WAIT! STOO...

Its been 212 days since I've been here. Every two weeks a new member joins, which mean an old member gets kicked to the curb. We all have to pull our own weight around here, you start slacking, get sick or go crazy, you're gone the second the new members joins, we're stuck in this twisted game, we do what we got to do to survive.

When night falls two groups of four go out hunting for food, while the rest of us either sleep or go on night patrol keeping an eye out for the Night Widows, no one knows what they what they are or what they really look like to be honest, all I can say is they're fast, if you blink you'll miss it, it grabs you and drags you into the night. We've lost 12 members due to Night Widows, its been 87 days since they last attacked, in a way I'm thankful but yet again I'm also terrified why they haven't attacked in a while.

"Jamie, can you help me plant these seeds here? my back is starting to kill me from leaning over so much." "Um, Yah sure Nixon, but you gotta help me try and fix this damn wall after" Jamie replied "Yah sure no probably I'll help you out" Jamie puts down the hammer and wood and grabs the bag of seeds and starts to plant them, "You nervous Jamie? you know about one day you might be the one to become the Outcast" Nixon asked in a serious tone "To be fully honest with you, I dont think about it to much I already have enough shit to deal with right now I dont need something else to weigh me down even more" "I guess you're right" Nixon yawned and leaned back onto the grass with his hands behind his head. 

"Nixon, Nixon wake up, you got to help me with the wall" Jamie said while shaking Nixon awake "Huh wait, what happened? did I fall asleep?" Nixon asked sounding confused "Yah but not for long maybe 15 minutes now get off your ass and help me with the wall like you said you would" Jamie laughed. I picked up the hammer a piece of wood, Jamie handed me some Nails, we started hammering away at the wall for about five minutes before either of us said something. "Damn wall, I told Jason it looked like this section was going to cave in weeks ago, but did he give two shits, of course not, sometimes he REALLY pisses me off" Jamie angrily said. "Wait you brought this up to Jason weeks ago and he didn't do shit about it, its his fucking job to make sure the walls in tact, why dont we go report him for this" Nixon replied sounding slightly annoyed. "Honestly its not worth the time, lets just get this wall done and call it a day, the suns going down so we gotta hurry anyway." 

The wall took two hours to finish repairing  it was now dark out and Jamie and I started making our way back towards our cabin so we can crash for the night, we share a cabin together so we just walked together. On our way back we looked to our left to see the Hunters make their way out for the night. We were a close enough distance to them so I yelled "Good luck you guys" and waved as they slowly vanished into the night

Upon reaching our cabin Jamie and I heard the buzzer go off indicating new spawn was coming through, "Want to go check out who the new spawn is?" I asked Jamie, "Why not I guess, lets go" we walk across the yard where about 13 other people were gathered around. The sliding doors that were 30 feet up flew open and out fell a new spawn, he landed in the pit, its full of soft grass so he landed safely "Its a guy" everyone said the new spawn emerged from the grass and started panicking like everyone else does, screaming like a mad man Carl jumped down and gave him a the shot that came with the kid, the shot is supposed to calm them down and relax them so they can understand whats happening, Carl is the guy that runs the place around here, he knows the most about whats happening he makes all the calls and what gets done. The new spawn slowly starts calming himself down "You okay?" Carl asked, new spawn didnt reply he just sat there doing nothing. Carl helped him out of the pit and onto the grass, the kid collapsed and Carl yelled out "WE NEED THE DOCTOR NOW" thats when I grabbed Jamie's hand and walked her back to the cabin, I didnt want her seeing anything she didnt have to see.

Jamie and I just sat there in bed talking about other things before she slowly started dozing off, I laughed as she fell asleep, I grabbed the blanket and pulled it over her, I curled up beside her and hugged her as we fell asleep. 

I woke up in the middle of the night to find Jamie missing from our bed, I quickly scan the room to see her standing with the door open looking outside, I get up and ask her whats wrong, I could hear her crying I walk up to her and look outside only to see the new spawn being escorted to where the outcasts go, I could hear him screaming, no ones ever acted like this on their first night, I told Jamie to go inside as I ran outside to the group, I asked them "What the Hell's going on this is new spawn why is he being escorted to the outcast station?!" Carl looked back and pulled me to the side as the rest of the group kept walking "I'm sorry Nixon but the doctors tried to help this kid but he's not right in the head, he's been trying to attack us all night trying to get away, just go back inside and be thankful you're not an outcast tonight okay." I didnt have much of a choice I didnt want to go against Carl or I might have been on his watch list, I slowly walked back, I could still hear him screaming. 

"NO WAIT STOP! DONT DO THIS! ITS NOT FAIR! FUCK ALL OF YOU, GO BURN IN HELL! WHERE ARE YOU TAKING ME?! NO WAIT! STOO..." I grabbed Jamie and walked her back inside shutting the door behind us.
