Let The Mind Wander ((One Shots))

Trapped

             "Holy shit, its cold as hell outside, I cant stand Winter" Lily said as she closed the door behind her "Did you bring all the luggage in here?" Lily asked while brushing off the snow on her jacket.

"Yah I placed them in the corner over there" Jack responded while pointing to the corner, "Where's the light switch I cant see a damn thing in here" Jack stumbled around looking for the switch. He stubbed his toe on a coffee table beside the sofa "AH SON OF A BITCH" Jack yelled out.

Lily starts to laugh, "You idiot were in a log cabin all the way up a mountain, they dont have electricity here" Lily reaches into the coffee table Jack stubbed his toe on and pulls out a box of matches. She strikes the matches on the box and a little flame lights up, "Ah here we are" she grabs a candle that was on the coffee table and lights it, "Now where are the rest of the candles" she mumbled.

Jack finally stands up and starts searching for more candles, thankfully they had the moon light to help them navigate a little. "Found one!" Jack yells out to Lily, "Here you go my lady" Jack leans over and hands it to here, Lily giggles and lights the candle. They finish lighting all the candles they could find and start unpacking all their things.

"Hey where are you going?" Lily asked Jack "We still need to finish unpacking, you cant just walk away and let me do all the work."

Jack turns back and says "I need to use bathroom give me a minute, I'll be back" he rounds the corner exiting the bedroom. Lily hears the bathroom door shut behind him, she continues to unpack everything when she hears Jack leave the bathroom.

"Hey Jack can you light the fire please, its freezing in here!" Lily yells out the door, "Pretty sure the woods beside the fire place, and please dont set the cabin on fire!"

"Okay that was one time and it wasnt even that big of a fire, nothing was destroyed" Jack says back in a laughing voice. He picks up the wood and places it in the fire place, "I can hear you laughing in there!" Jack said as he made his way back to the bedroom. "You'll never let me live that down will you."

"Not a chance" Lily responded while giggling, "And yes something did get destroyed, my favorite hoodie caught on fire remember, it was burnt to a crisp."

"Pretty sure that was my hoodie" Jack said laughingly, Lily looked at him smiling.

"Originally it was your hoodie yes, but you gave it to me the first time we met remember" she giggled again "I loved that hoodie it kept me warm at night, I used it as a blanket more than my actual blanket" 

"What if I buy you a new one hmm?" Jack asked "Same one, you know same size and all?"

"No its not the same" Lily said in a pouting voice, "That one was the best, it smelt like you, thats why I loved it so much!" 

Lily and Jack both started laughing, "I'm sorry I'll make it up to you" Jack said while leaving the room again.

"Oh and how you going to do that?" Lily asked while she still smiled.

"I'll find a way dont worry" Jack said while lighting the fire pit. After it was lit he put grate over the fire and put a tea kettle on top and started boiling water, Lily walked out of the room in a horrible yet warm looking Christmas sweater. "Oh god what are you wearing its awful" Jack said while laughing.

"Dont be so mean, I love this sweater. It keeps me nice and warm while you stay cold." Lily sits on the couch laughing, Jack sits next to her and they start to cuddle.

"You finish unpacking all the stuff?" Jack asked while his arms wrapped around her.

"Yah its all unpacked and in the drawers" Lily said while looking out the window, "its snowing hard outside. 

Jack looks over and says "Wow it is, looks like we might be trapped in here for the night"

Lily laughs "Well as long as I'm with you I'm okay with that" The tea kettle starts screeching, Jack gets up and grabs it, pours it into a cup, grabs the hot chocolate box and pours it in as well, he mixes it and looks at Lily.

"One or two marshmallows" Jack asked saying in a silly voice.

Lily laughs "Two please" Jack hands her the cup of hot chocolate and cuddles up next to her again. "I think this is going to be the best two week vacation ever" Lily said to Jack.

"I love you!" Jack said to Lily as he gave her a kiss

"I love you too!" Lily replied giving Jack a return kiss.
