Claire's POV

I stepped out of cramped, tiny car breathing in the cold morning air fully ready to be done with this trip. "Josh why in the hell did you pick an apartment so far away where we don't belong?". I questioned with an annoyed tone in my voice. " Because it's far away from where we were before".  "You mean our old hom-" I was interrupted by a very angry Josh " that was not a home Claire there's a difference between somewhere you live and a home".
"Yeah sure whatever how long until we get there?" I asked trying to take his mind off our previous conversation. "About half an hour" he shot me a piercing look. "I'm sorry I made you mad but you can't hold one to it like you were the only one hurt...try and relax ok?" I said nervously then waited for a less than happy response "I know I shouldn't have been so rude to you I'm sorry. Would you mind taking tony to see if he needs to go to the bathroom while I get us some food? ". "oh yeah, sure" I replied in a very surprised way being as I thought I was going to be on the receiving end of one of my brothers temper Tantrum's.
I opened the car door to my twelfth birthday present that was a large husky out of the back seat, I'd now had him for 4 years and he was my best friend In this world. I turned around and started walking with my eyes to the ground and being the klutz that I am walked into a wall...walls aren't normally warm...and they don't have 8 packs. I looked up with a look of utter embarrassment on my face and try to get words to come out of my mouth "i -i-i"
"Were you just counting my abs?" He gave a slight chuckle "I uh No!". " you were I saw your lips moving as you counted them. I'm hunter by the way". He gave me a warm smile that made his perfect god like face beam "sorry... I'm Claire". He chuckles once again amused by my bright red face this was so embarrassing. " you can remove your hand from by abs now" I now realize that I was still in his arms and to make matters worse my dog had run circles around us with his leash so when I tried to jump a way from him we both landed in the dirt. Two men came out of the gas station we were at and walked over to us seeing us on the ground made them burst out laughing "help us up you idiots!" He screamed at the two men "I don't know hunter you look like your doing good on your own buddy" said one of the black haired boys as they continued laughing. "Oh shit!" I screamed "what's wrong?!"
