I ran and ran as fast as my four legs could take me. I didn't look back, I was too scared I would have to face him. I could hear him panting as he got closer to me. I tried to run faster, but only to be stopped by and over grown tree root sticking out of the ground. I tumbled over and let out a loud yelp in pain as my back hit a tree. Whimpering, I shifted back into my human form.

Connor's deep laugh filled my ears. I wanted to run, to hide, to get away, but I couldn't. I was helpless. All I could do was whimper. "Thought you could leave so soon huh?" He said as he lifted up my chin with his hand so I was forced to look at him. "Well you must have been pretty stupid to think you could out run me." He said with a smirk on his face once again. Ugh, I just wanna slap that smirk off of his perfect face.

" I would have if I hadn't tripped over that damn root!" I shout at him. What happened next though, still leaves my head spinning and my cheek burning. He slapped me. "Don't you dare yell at me. " He growled and let go of my chin. I didn't know what to say. I was speechless. No one had ever slapped me before.

He must have noticed my loss of words because he started to laugh. Always with that damn laugh! I thought to myself. Like when is he not laughing though? "Aw. Never been hit before princess?" He said with a fake frown. "Of course not dumbass." I mumble to myself.

He put his hand out, I looked at him confused but still I took his hand. The next thing I knew my lips were on his, I tried to push him away but I couldn't. I could feel my cheeks burning, as continued to kiss me. After about 3 minutes or so, he finally pulled away.

"What the hell! You just kissed me!" I yell as I stand in front of him furious. "I thought you would like that princess. " He said with his deep voice and sly smirk. I looked at him with disgust. "I don't even know you! What makes you think you can do that?!" Although I secretly enjoyed it, I wouldn't let it show.

His eyes then turned a shade of black. " Connor? A-Are you okay...? I ask terrified as I walk backwards, my back hitting the tree once again. "I've never been better." He growled as he walked over to grab my wrist.

Then out of nowhere, a light brown wolf with emerald green eyes jumped in front of me.

"Don't even think about it Connor." His deep, yet silky voice said.

Connor then shifted back into his wolf. He jumped on the stranger gripping his jaws onto his muzzle. I shifted as well, my ears going down as I whimpered. " Stop!" I yell, hoping to stop the two. Surprisingly, it worked. They both turned and looked at me curiously. "P-. "I cleared my throat, "Please stop, and follow me." I say, feeling a little more confident. They both looked at each other and shrugged. They then followed me. I started walking home, shaking my pelt slightly nervous.

We walked into the Pack house with my fellow pack mates watching us curiously. My best friend Maisy gave me an odd look. I gave her the "I'll tell you later" look. She nodded and with that, I walked into the Pack house. With the two behind me, I knocked on my father's office door, walking in. "Father, we have a problem." I say sternly.

My father's brown eyes looked up from his laptop and at me, then at the two boys standing behind me. He moved his eyes back to me. "Shiver, this is Harry and Connor. The two you will have to choose from. Harry is from the Tomeka pack, and Connor, from the Death Pack. As you already know."

"Oh." Is all I managed to say. I looked over to Connor, my brown eyes meeting his green ones. He had a smirk plastered on his face. Which caused me to roll my eyes. "So what do you want me to do with them then?" I ask my father, not knowing what to do.

"You let them spend the night."
