Demi POV

I could not believe that Kenzie had talked. I was completely overjoyed and shocked honestly. I wondered what had made her want to talk. She rested her head on me, holding a little bit of my shirt in her hand and rubbing the material with her thumb.

I looked around at the girls, Mani was next to me. Dinah and Ally were cuddled on the couch together, and Lauren was holding Camila, who held a stuffed monkey and bear close to her. I smiled down at Kenzie. I wanted to try and carry on small a conversation with her.

"How did you sleep, baby?" I asked her. "So so, you elbowed me in the face a couple of times," Normani said laughing. "Oh my god Mani, I was talking to Kenzie, but sorry I elbowed you," I said laughing a little, she shrugged it off and laughed too. "Now, Kenzie. How did you sleep, sweetie?" Kenzie made a cute little thinking face. She smiled, nodding once, breaking eye contact with me.

"Is that good?" She ran her hand over the material of the blanket that was close by. "Kenzieee." I cooed, taping her arm. She didn't look back up, so I gently lifted her head for her to look at me. She whined a little and reached for the blanket before putting her sleeve in her mouth and chewing on it.

"Is that good baby?"She laid her head on my chest and nodded. I ruffled her hair, "That's good, baby." She blushed and giggled. "Awwwhhhh," Ally and Dinah cooed. Kenzie, Mani, and I looked up to see that they were awing at Camila, who had a paci in her mouth, her eyes closed, and her hand holding the hem of Lauren's shirt.

Lauren ran a gentle hand through Camila's hair. "Awhhh," Normani and I cooed. Kenzie babbled something, pointing at Camila. I tilted my head at her out of confusion. She slid off my lap and went to get something before coming back. She held up a cute little paci.

"Awh, baby, you and Mila both have pacis. When did Mila get one and why?" I asked Lauren. "It was in her monkey, I don't know how long she's had it. There's like 3 in there." Lauren told us, running a comforting hand through Camila's hair.

I was a little concerned, but it was probably a comforting concept for Camila, which was something she needed. "Do you girls want to do something today?" I asked. Mani, Ally, Dinah, and Lauren nodded. Kenzie cuddled into me a moment later as Camila closed her eyes.

"Lauren, do you think Camila will be okay to do anything today, or do you think we should stay home?" Ally asked. "If you guys wanna go you can, I think I'll stay here with Camz, I don't want her out today," Lauren answered. "You sure, we can just go another day where we can all go," Normani suggested.

Lauren nodded, "Yes, I'm sure Mani," Lauren reiterated, laughing a little. "Not to mention I might take a nap anyway and obviously Camz needs one too," Lauren told us as she yawned. "Go get in bed hun," Ally suggested. "Yea, good call Als. See you all later, I'll text you when I get up," Lauren said, picking up Camila and going upstairs.

"Okay so girls, what do you wanna do today?" I asked. "Umm, we can go to that aquarium where you can swim with the dolphins and look at the fish and all that, I read it's great for water therapy and maybe that'd be something good for Kenzie." Dinah pointed out.

"That sounds perfect Dinah! I think we have to schedule that, I'll call now. Also, we'll have to go and get some wet suits on the way, because I have none." I said, laughing a little. "Do you like that idea Kenzie?" Mani asked her. Kenzie nodded, chewing on her sleeve more. "I've got to figure out why she does that, there's no way that feels good to her teeth," I said, kinda thinking out loud.

"Ooooh, I think it has something to do with deep pressure.. yeah, I've watch too many list videos. You can help by getting her a weighted blanket or vest. It's a sensory thing." Normani told me with a smile. I thought about it, "Thank you so much, Mani, I'm gonna go call now though, we should all get showers and slip on some clothes."
