Forgotten

One look at him, I choked my drink. It was the same idiotic prevert guy I met just now. He sat in front of me and slimed. All I see is just the guy I personally hate.
"Well,well... Thank you for your attendance this evening. I'm happy to be a part of this family tonight onwards. As tonight, we will see our two eldest child get engaged."
"W-wait! Me and this pervert guy? No! I'm opposing to this."
I looked at him and he kept staring at me for a long time. I just stared at him seriously. Suddenly he got up. He also opposed to the engagement. He even said I'm a mad doctor. Ugh, I just saved his brother's life. No thanks to that?
"Good, it seems you are both getting along. So, officially you are engaged. Congrats!"
"What the hell is going on here actually?"
I was in shock that I could not stop thinking how awful to get engaged. It seems God made my new year even worst than ever. I went back home and packed for Newt's house. As we reached there, I took the room beside him cause it was big enough for me. I was so sleepy and I slept. Next morning, I got up early and did breakfast. I took my breakfast and left for work around 7:30 am. When I'm sitting with my friends and talked about the future, I felt so jealous cause some of them are going get married soon. Like Iris, she is just 20 and she is gonna get married this year.
"Are you coming? Please say you are coming to my marriage. After all, you are the vice president. Your the VIP."
"Um... Hey, Matt. Are you going to Iris's marriage? If you go, I'll go."
