Lucy the Imperial Assassin

Chapter 3

Roar.

Lucy looked up to see a large yellow furred beast, with a mane like a lion, but with two horns leaving the mane. The weirdest thing was it had three red eyes. Lucy examined the beast for a second before moving her hand to one of her golden keys, Leo. Pulling out the key Lucy looked to the animal and applied some magic to the key, feeling the gateway connect Lucy shouted, "Open the gate of the Lion! LEO!" Light erupted in the area before a man in a loosely worn suit, with orange hair like a lion's mane appeared. Pushing up a pair of sunglasses he turned to Lucy and gleefully asked, "Princess, have you finally accepted my love?" Lucy looked at him for a few moments while sweat dropping. After getting over it Lucy looked to Leo and asked, "Loke, can you take out this.. Lion?" Leo looked at Lucy, then at the Lion-like creature, then back to Lucy stating calmly, "Lucy, that is not a lion. That is a... I don't know, but it is insulting for you to call it a lion." Tilting her head to about thirty degrees Lucy asked, "I'm sorry, it just makes it easier to call it a lion. Can you still take it out?" Leo took up a stance then shouted, "O Regulus... Grant me your strength!" Charging to the Lion-like beast Leo shouted, "Regulus Impact" Before punching the beast in it's third eye, instantly killing the beast.

At that point several hunter came in to see Lucy stood there and Leo stood with in front of the Jakaleo, Ieyasu asked, "Hey Lucy who is that?!" Lucy turned to them before she spoke, "This is Loke, you can call him Leo, Loke you can go back now." Leo looked over to Lucy before nodding his head and spoke, "Remember to call me if you need help, or to confess your love to me." And with that he evaporated into Light as his gate closed, leaving the crowd gasping at this and Ieyasu asking, "Lucy, do you own a Teigu?" Lucy turned her head a bit, thinking over the word 'Teigu' she curiously asked, "What's a Teigu?" This made more gasps coming from the villagers as they froze in place.

The silence was broken when Sayo informed Lucy, "Teigu are Imperial Arms, they are artifacts that have the pieces of a Danger Beast inside of them, like that Jackaleo you just killed, and if that's not an Imperial Arm, what is it?" Lucy looked at her twenty-seven keys, pulling out the Maiden, and proudly stating, "It's magic, let me show you... Open Gate of the Maiden! VIRGO!" A pink-haired maid with emotionless eyes, and chains around her arms erupted from the ground and immediately asked, "Punishment, Princess?"

Forgetting about everyone else Lucy sweat dropped and spoke, "No, can you please stop asking?" Lucy turned to the others. One was missing and the others had their mouths fully open, Lucy giggled, "Close your mouths you will let flies in." This released the villagers from their mental prison. They all started asking Lucy questions before a loud voice boomed, "Shut up!" Everyone, including Lucy, turned to see the village leader.

The village leader calmly asked Lucy, "Lucy, can you tell us more about this... magic?" Lucy blinked twice before nodding her head and cheerfully answering, "Sure! I use two different magics, Celestial Spirit summoning and Shadow God Slaying magic. The Celestial Spirit magic is where I use a key, like the one I am holding, to summon immortal beings or objects from a different realm called the Celestial Spirit World, they can be used to help you in fights. You can also use them to help you: locate items, move around, tell the time, or even to heal you." Lucy took in a short breath and quickly continued, "Shadow God Slaying magic is a type of lost magic, God Slaying magic, to use it you have to be taught by a God. I was taught by two God, Erebus the God of Shadows and Nyx the Goddess of Night. They both also taught me how to use the art of assassination." The village leader tried to find any sign Lucy was telling a lie, but found no such sign. Ieyasu was the next to speak up, and with four words he destroyed any atmosphere there was, "That is so cool!" After explaining her abilities, the leader requested, "Lucy, can you help train two of our hunters, Sayo and Ieyasu. They need the extra training, and it may save them in the future." Lucy thought about it for a few moments before shrugging and promised, "I will improve their combat skills, but I will not teach them any assassination techniques, or magic. The first one is because most danger beasts should be able to smell you from a few hundred meters away. The second, because it is impossible, only certain families have Celestial Spirit magic, and I can't exactly call down a God just to train two people." Giving an evil grin Lucy turned to Ieyasu and sweetly said, "Let's get started!"

[Author Note: I will be updating this within a couple of days, this update will skip the training and go onto the leaving the village. I will be uploading her backstory, and their training later on. Although, both will be in journal form. The next chapter may also contain some scenes you may think of as gory, these gore scenes whenever shown in the future and I think they are gory, I will add a clean(er) version of the scene so any plot related moments will not be missed by people who chose to read those scenes....

Another note is, Lucy's personality. In this fan fiction she will be cold personality wise to most people. She will be slightly flirty around men, but this is the side of her that tries to get any information she can. But, around people she considers closer than acquaintances she will be the same as she is in Fairy Tail. ]
