it being the first New Year's Eve not celebrating with you boyfriend, I.M, because of his busy schedule. you went to a New Year's Eve party with some of your friends instead of being with I.M because it would just be a waste to count down by yourself. you were chatting with some old friends from school that you haven't seen in a long time, and was honestly having a good time there, but it could've been better if I.M was there with you.
when it was about to hit midnight, you got an incoming FaceTime call from I.M. you went to a more quiet space in the house, smiling when your boyfriend's face appears on your phone screen.
"hey y/n! I miss you," he tells you before proceeding to tell what he was doing. when it hit midnight, he kissed his phone camera making it seem like you guys were kissing.
"you're so stupid, but happy New Years love," you said laughing
