Rin's POV
Shiemi, Shima and Bon were waiting outside for me "Why'd he keep you back?" Bon asked, his arms crossed with that 'don't give a fuck' look. "He's just worrying as usual is all." I said before walking off. Shiemi ran after me.
"Well he would obviously worry won't he. I mean you two just went after Satan!" She said. I shrugged and didn't say much else. We talked about random things like how she names remedies as her own with human names. She told me about them all. At least it got my mind off everything.
Truth is I'm really worried about Yukio. Since his demon powers have awoken like mine I'm scared that would be more reason for Satan to go after him. And now if someone gets out the sword Satan could come back for round 2.
I opened the door to my room. Walked over to my bed and sat on it. "Rin don't worry too much about Yukio." Kuro said. "If you two protect each other none of you will get hurt."
"Thanks Kuro." I replied "I'm still keeping my guard up though."
I went to sit on the roof until nightfall as I do a lot. I was thinking about dad, how much he cared for me and Yukio even though we were demons. I know it's my fault but I didn't know it would end up in him being possessed "Fuck!" I said to myself in anger and I punched the roof I was sat on. "Demon child." A voice behind me said. It was a voice that I didn't recognise. I turned around and saw a demon. I have never seen one like it before in my life. It was blood red with two black spots for eyes. It had swirls of burgundy and it had arms but no legs. It charged towards me. I grabbed the sword but I realised that I would draw attention so I put it over my shoulder again. I ran down the stairs and made it chase me until I found Yukio. I saw him and started yelling his name as I got closer. He turned to look at me and saw the demon. He kept shooting at it but it was no use, the demon kept dodging it. Suddenly I felt a throbbing pain in my head, like I'd just been hit with a frying pan. It made me dizzy and I fell to the floor in pain. Everything was spinning and I heard the demon cackle while Yukio yelled my name. Everything dimmed and eventually went black.
