Why, Hello Christmas

Prologue

Who can decide if you're socially expectable or not? Other people, I wish I was able to choose. If you're an average Joe like me, well, you're a nobody. If you're pretty, you're popular. If you're unique, your either bullied or praised. That's basically high school.

I see her walk pass, she's pretty, I thought to myself, "Dude, she has a boyfriend, you don't have a chance," my best friend Eddie says, I turn around and roll my eyes, "I know it's just..." I took a breath out, Eddie patted my shoulder and walked to his class. The bell rang and I was left in the hall with a little bit of other kids. I shuffled down the halls and finally got to my science class.

"Alright class! We're going to have a project-" the class groaned, "But... you get to pick your partner," the class cheered and people stood up to get a partner, I got up and started walking to her but her boyfriend got there first, I could probably treat her better than him. Someone grabbed my arm and I jumped, "Why don't you be with me Daniel?" Becca said, she's really weird and she loves me, "Uh, n-no I already have a partner," I said, and grabbed Eddie who was standing beside me, "Alright, I'll be watching." And she was gone, I think she has a pet rat or something. "So you want to be my partner?" Eddie asked, "Sure," I said lowly, we sat at a table, I rolled my eyes when her and her boyfriend started kissing. I guess it's fine that they kiss, they are boyfriend and girlfriend.

After class, Eddie and I went to the cafeteria. Tater Tots and salad, nutritious. I only ate a bite of salad and half of my tater tots, "You have to eat," Eddie said, "Please," he pleaded, I began eating my salad, it wasn't too bad I guess. I saw her, her smile is cute, she's just adorable, "I see you have eyes on my girlfriend," Hayden said, I made myself smaller, "She's good for sex then you can have her," my face contorted into a frown, "That's wrong, you shouldn't take advantage of women like that," I shook my head, "I have to tell her," I got up but Hayden grabbed my arm, "Who will she believe, her loving boyfriend or some freak," he basically threw my arm and walked to her, "But you know who she will believe," Eddie said, I looked at him, my face plastered with confusion, "No?" He held up his phone, "Video... wait for it... proof," my mouth was wide open.

No flipping way this is going to work, Eddie knows her brother and he didn't even like Hayden so he gave us the okay to come to his house and show her the video. This is the first time I've been happy in a while so I hope it'll work. I took a breath in and knocked on the door. She opened it and her smile was a ray of sun.
