"Why, hello Christmas." I beamed, her smile got even wider, "Dan! Come on in," how does she know my name? I walked in and she shut the door, I looked around for a bit, it smelled like cinnamon, there were pictures of her and her family hanging on the walls and on shelves. Her dining room and kitchen were connected to the living room that was fairly large, I sat on a leather chair and she sat across from me, "Not to be rude but... why are you here?" I pulled out my phone, "You're not going to like this," I turned on the video and let her watch, her face contorted from a smile to a cringe then to a frown.
She was about to talk then the doorbell rang, "Go out the back door," she whispered and pushed me toward the door. I ran out the door and waited, the leaves were blowing and the wind was nipping at my nose, my breath swirled above me and I got up, I was being nosy but I went to a window with a screen and listened, I was standing tip toed with one leg on a wobbly stool, I hope I don't fall off, "Hayden, can you take a seat,"
"Yeah, sure," he sounded worried, I heard the floor squeak and then some more talking, "I think we should take a break," Christmas said, her voice full of confidence, "A break off of what? School?" He can't take a hint can he? "No, us," her confidence was slowly fading with every breath, "Why?" His voice was quivering, I could tell it was fake, "It's just not working out, I don't have the same feelings I used too," she answered, "Fine!" I could here him stand up, "Fine?" She sounded confused on why he was mad, "You were only a side chick anyways," a slap echoed throughout the house, "I've been loyal! You want to know why I'm breaking up with you?" Oh god I'm going to get a beating tomorrow, "Someone showed me a video of you saying you only want me for sex!" She yelled, she's kind of scary, "Just..." she took a shaky breath out, "... leave," the door slammed and sobbing was the only thing that can be heard.

I walked into the school with a jolt, I'm going to have to be on the look out for the next couple of days. The only people that were here were the people who play sports, Eddie is here, but so is Hayden. I waited at my locker and soon more and more people began to show up, he might not find me, I got shoved into my locker and shouted at by Hayden. I let out a puff of breath and sped to my class, art, which is good, I like art.
I walked into the class and went straight to the back, where sometimes, I feel like I belong, in the back where no one can see me, but I always screw something up and everyone notices in a bad way. People began to pile in and I noticed a new guy, he had sandy blonde hair that was shaggy and untamed, he had sparkly green eyes and was very pale. I could tell by the clothes he was wearing he was fairly rich, he sat a row in front of me, which was annoying and I forgot my glasses so I can't see!
When the teacher turned around I got a paper ball to the face, I opened it up, it said "emo fag" I gave it a disgusting look and shoved it in my desk, "We're going to try drawing realistic eyes, okay class?" The boy in front of me raised his hand, "Are we colouring it in or not?" He had a strong lisp and Hayden snickered, "Not today, I'll go get some paper," the boy leaned over to me, "Do you have a pencil?" He asked, "What colour? Red, blue or grey?" he gave me a confused look, "Just a number two pencil please," I shifted through my bag and gave him a pencil.
Hayden stood up and trudged through the desks, "So lispy," he said to the boy, "I'd rather you not call me that," he mumble, "Say cucumber," that followed with them mocking him. He shoved him, that was my last straw. I stood up and pushed him, "Ah, this is your boyfriend I get it now," he pushed me and I pushed him harder, then he punched me and before I knew it we were fist fighting on the ground, people were trying to pull us apart and were yelling at us to stop. I got pulled off by some apart of the student council, then the principal walked in.

"Oh Hun, what happened young man?" my mom asked sternly but with some softness. I had a black eye, several bruises across my body and a busted lip, "It was nothing mom," I groaned, then my brother walked in, he stood beside me and mom. He was five years older than me and was 6'4' so he's pretty tall, when Hayden came out of the principals office he had a bleeding nose, a bruise on his jaw and a couple other bruises that were scattered across his arms and legs, "You did that?" My brother asked, I nodded and he gave me a high five. "Darius!" My mom flicked him on the head.
"Come on in," the principal said, oh god.
