Mark's P.O.V.

For once I wished that horse was still around. We were alone, a few miles away from the stables, and it was already starting to get dark.

"What? How did Charlie get out? He never wanders off..." Jack mumbled, never taking his eyes off of the post where Charlie used to be.

"We'll find him, Jack. I promise." I patted his shoulder and started to walk towards the woods. The trail was harder to see now that the sky was a navy blue.

"Mark. I-someone's watching us." He sounded extremely nervous. I walked back over to Jack and hugged him tightly. I felt his arms go around my waist as we just stood there for a few minutes. The warmth we provided each other was then broken by a twig snapping behind the trees surrounding the clearing.

A high pitched chuckle came from the woods, followed by a pair of green eyes staring directly at me. I pushed Jack behind me and stood up straighter. Then a deeper voice started to speak, echoing all around us.

"Isn't this the perfect night for love?" The echoes grew closer, more snapping noises walking towards us.

Then, a shadowy figure appeared by Charlie's post. He was about the same size as me, same build and height...Was this the person Jack was terrorized by? I felt the anger rise in my chest, my fists clenched.

"Getting a bit fiery, aren't we, Mark?" A seductive Irish voice filled my ears. I turned to look at Jack, but he was just as scared as I was. This was him...Anti. I froze and stared into Jack's eyes. He was a meter away, but I couldn't move to get to him.

I looked down to see two black tentacles wrapped around my feet, holding me in place, not able to get to Jack. I struggled to get free only to fall backwards. I sat up and saw another tentacle wrap around Jack's body, slowly circling until it reached his mouth. His eyes were full of tears at this point.

"No!" I shouted and grabbed at the tentacle on my feet.

Jack was about to call for me when the oozing black arm wrapped around his mouth, tightening around his entire body. His eyes were wide with fear.

Then, the dark figure walked behind Jack and put an arm over his shoulder. Smiling wickedly down at me, they disappeared in a cloud of crimson smoke.

I started to breath heavily, still pulling at the tentacle around my feet. That's when Anti walked in front of me. He bent down, crouching just in front of me, lifting my chin to look in his eyes.

"See you soon, Markimoo~" His voice made me shiver. I tried to reach out and punch the man, but he disappeared and left me to sit in silence on the top of the forest. The tentacle melted into the earth, and I slowly started to fall into a deep sleep, dreaming of the scene that had just taken place in front of me. I had lost Jack...
