~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
'So his real intentions were to harm me?!' I fought the urge to leap to my feet and attack him in a mad rage. For one, even though I knew he had lied I hated being lied to. Secondly! I had been happily in the forest on my own next to the river and the next thing I know I have something slam into my head and I end up here. All for adding in some crazy person's plans?!
Adrenalin speedily let his words sink in. he wanted to kill me. 'I'm in danger. I needed to defend myself.' fear started to quickly seeping in and just then, something started creeping into my mind. I could feel its cold claws around my mind. The soft sound of whirring mechanic gears started to clink behind me.
I swung around to see the bright blue glow of eyes that had appeared behind me, as a giant metal wolf nearly 6 feet tall at its highest got to its paws. The worn dusty tan cloth that had been covering it before, fell to the floor as it stood and began to walk towards me.
Its metal body glowed with the moonlight as it stepped out of the shadows. Metal.
"It's awake... My lovely you're alive!" he said gawking astonishedly in a praising tone. carefully he walk towards the large metallic wolf but It stopped at my feet.
"Oh I pray that you haven't turned towards her side already..." his arms fell to his sides his shoulders slumping dejectedly. "If so ....you will have to meet your brother." his expression turned dark suddenly half grinning, " and let us both pray that never happens, because if you're on now, then that means I have the key for turning him on aswell" his grin faltered and he turned to me "... just... how did you do it?" He's crazed eyes again dancing with curiosity. A wicked grin spreading across his face as he turned back to admiring the wolf.
I also stare at the wolf that loomed above me. Understanding now in my eyes, knowing exactly how I activate this monstrosity. It soon turned to a horrified look. Iron and metal were minerals. 'How had I let this get out of hand again?!' I could sense a darker spirit was twisting the will of it. This was a creation originally intended for dark power and made for great destruction. Its body began to twist and distort slightly as a dark purple aura surrounded around it mixed with blue glowing magic. I had now just noticed the glowing blue magic lines recede back to me from across the floor.
The wolf shook making it return to its normal shape again along with dissipating the magic and aura surrounding it. Its massive head turned so it could stare into my eyes. It had a will of its own now, and that one, was evil. Dark sparks and bits of purple flames licked around in its eye sockets. It had just needed the power to start up. its breath of life.
This shouldn't have happened! How could the gods and I have made such a mistake?!? I started to scamper away from it still on the floor unable to look away from the beast.
The mans words and what had just happened to began to click. I knew I could also have the magic to power up its brethren. Its purpose was to aid that man, and that was a very very bad thing, or least I assume given the situation.
The man looked back at Me. this whole time he had been trying to figure out what had caused it to activate.
"Rage, I saw it in your eyes, that's the key! I guess I'm to whimsical and I let things pass me by too easily." he paused and decided that wasn't completely true.
"...well... I at least bottle it up when i do find myself inraged....I don't know.... Maybe that wasn't how you did it... either way you activated this wolf..." he said simply before trailing off again.
"I thought it required other things... But that matters not now." He look back to the wolf concerned. then whispered, "why now though, so many have come and gone. Was rage really the answer or not? So simple yet perfect... maybe too perfect...... wait what was that blue stuff coming from you earlier? I completely forgot about it."
The wolf throughout all his rambling had never broken its gaze with me. I clumsily got to my feet, feeling it eyeing me, sizing me up. Staring into my soul. After a few more moments it looked content with something. something to do with me or me myself? The same dark feeling from before started to creep in again. I winced bringing my hands up to my head and closing one eye. The wolf snarled and like lightning lunged at me, its bite aimed at my heart. My eyes went wide as I did a quick flip backwards barely avoiding its razor sharp teeth.
It was calling to me now, inside my head I could feel it. I tried to shake its hold on my mind but the more I did the more I felt it creep In taking control. It lunged again this time sinking its fangs into my leg. I screamed out as I fell to the ground. I tried to shelled myself with my arms but all it did was repeatedly bite them until it grab hold of my shoulder with its jaws. The whole time I cried out until my cries slowly died into heavy breathing. My magic was unable to stop the attacks, my will and power were overpowered by the wolf's , my blood dripped from the open bite marks. it held me in its jaws till I stopped fighting it. My arms fell to my sides and my body became still as my mind when blank. The wolf noticed this and released me. Slowly it dropped its head down to hover over my heart. My heart had begun to glow as the center of my magic power and life force. With a mixture of my own blood, the blue colored magic, and the dark aura, it let the dark purple concoction dripped from its mouth onto me. The ink like substance seeped into my skin and formed into a strange marking along with others. The same markings appeared on the wolf's metal body. The marking began leaking dark magic mist that looked like a small trail of smoke. At the center of both heart markings a bright light shined like a star as long vines grew out and entangled each other. Linking us both to the same life force. The magic faded away and I slipped back into the darkness of sleep.
