PAW Patrol: The Broken Arm

Chapter 5: Daring Danny Dumb

(A/N I might start writing in the present tense to add a layer of tenacity and emotion to the plot.)

RYDER'S POV
It's been an hour since the tornado hit Adventure Bay, and there's nothing I can do about. I sigh. A doctor comes in. He tells me that my arm is healing nicely and I could return home at the end of the week. Great news. He walks out of the room and I go to sleep.

ZUMA'S POV
— I hope Wyder dude is okay, I weally don't want him hurt! My voice is being overwhelmed by the tornados'. It's very loud. "Chase, I'm scared," whispers Skye, worried. Chase whispered back, "It'll be okay. Don't worry." Then I see Chase and Skye sleeping together. That really escalated quickly. "Guys, as much as I would love some sleep right now, WE ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF A TORNADO!" yells Rocky. Jeez. Buzzkill.

An hour has passed, and I think that the tornado died down. I take a look outside, and the sky is turning blue again. Phew. It's over. Everyone was acting like it was either a huge deal or no deal. Skye and Chase slept, so did Rubble. Marshall hid in the basement, and Rocky ran around in circles. I just sat down and watched TV. Sadly, the tornado messed with our antenna and most of the good channels didn't work. It's fine. It was fun, and at least we don't have to go encounter the tornado again.

— DRRRIIIIING! Huh? Is it Ryder's pup pad? Is Ryder coming back? I answer. It was Danny.

— Hey, uh, Daring Danny X here! I tried to jump over the tornado, and um, it brought me up here, on top of city hall! Can the PAW Patrol please come and lend a paw? He pauses. "Please!" I frown. "Danny, you shouldn't be jumping over townados, it's not possible, and it's extremely dangerous. But don't worry, the PAW Patwol will save you, just hang in there." I hang up the phone and run to Chase. "Chase Chase Chase! Danny needs our help! He's stuck on top of city hall!" Chase called the PAW Patrol to the lookout, and they all promptly arrived. "Pups, we have an emergency! Danny was riding his motorcycle through Main Street and he got sucked up by the tornado!" Okay, that's not what happened, he tried to ride through the tornado, but whatever. "Luckily, he's not hurt, but he made it on top of city hall! We need to get him out of there!" Everyone gasps. "For this mission, I'll need Skye and Marshall! Both of you are going to try and save Danny from different angles! Alright! PAW Patrol is on a roll!" The pups cheered and the mission began.

DANNY'S POV
Wow, the view is so cool from up here. I can see everything from here. I just hope the next gust of wind isn't strong, or that could be the end of Daring Danny X. "Don't worry Danny, we're here to save you!" Oh, it's Skye! "Hey, over here!" I wave. Skye approaches me and lowers her harness. "Woahhhh!" A guest of wind swooped Skye's helicopter away and almost took me with it. I quickly regain my balance and try to hold on to the closest pole.

MARSHALL'S POV
There's my queue. "Arf! Ladder!" I went up with my ladder. I never went so high. I took a look down. Everyone seemed so nimble. I feel uneasy at the first glance. I almost lose my balance and fall, but Danny grabs my paw and saves me. "Phew, thanks Danny." Danny smiles proudly. "It's Daring Danny X! And I can take it from here! He drops down, expecting his foot touch a ladder, but instead, there was nothing. He started to fall to the ground. Everything went in slow motion. This is the end of Daring Danny X.
