You came home from a day of... of... just exactly what the hell were you doing the whole day? You didn't know and neither did your mother when you walked into the house that day. You were just that kid, or should I say brand new graduate, who does random shit all day. Then you would come home not even knowing what you did that day. Pretty petty. Your mother swore you had some sort of 'mental illness' but that was just you not giving enough of a damn to tell her what was going on. Your mother, on the other hand, wanted to be that one single mother with that perfect daughter of hers who would go to the most expensive college out there.
But you didn't turn out to be ANYTHING like that.
"You cannot just walk into my house, expecting me to feed you when you come home, and not have a job at that, and just say " I didn't know what I was doing". That's pure laziness and I'm not having anymore of it from you!" She said angrily. Honestly, you weren't in the mood to hear her bullshit about how you didn't have a job and that you were still living in her house. But you could tell if you didn't get a job soon, she would kick you out and you would end up homeless, begging for food of the streets. That would ruin your image for your mother.
"Look, y/n, I love you but, you can't be living like this for the rest of your life! You need to do something with yourself! Figure out what you want to do!" She was nearly in tears. Had you really cross the line so badly to where you made your mother become disappointed in you? To where she was in tears? "I'll get a job tomorrow. I promise. I'll make us a family again." You said with determination. " Thank you y/n." Your mother said, sounding relieved.
'I can't believe I'm just now noticing how much I was tearing her a part.' You thought. 'I got to fix this.'
Starting tomorrow, your life was going to change completely. It would either turn out good or you could do something to fuck it up and it could all go down, just like that. The choice will be up to you. How far will you go to satisfy your mother? It all depends on your actions.
'I got to find a job soon or I could lose my own mother.' You said in your final thoughts of that day.
