your POV
i was unboxing my stuff when there was a knock on my bed room door, "come in" i said. my mom walked, "hey (y/n) me and your dad are going out for a bit. " she said. i nodded, "ok, mom" i said smiling. my mom smiled back and walked away. *time skip* i got finished with unpacking and checked my phone, my parents have not come home yet. i shut off my phone and decide to go for a walk. i got dressed and walked out of my room. i walked over to the front door and opened it and walked outside, i then started on my walk. while on my walk i started to hear singing, i look around but didn't see anything. i sighed and decided to find out where the singing was coming from. it lead me to a lake, i tilted my head in confusion until i saw man with red and black hair and he was shirtless, singing. "um...Hi!" i called out trying not to look at his chest. the man looked at me and smiled which made me blush. the man swum over to me, "hello~" he said. oh god,his voice is soooo deep! "i-i heard y-you singing a-and.." i stuttered. i mentally facepalmed at my stuttering. "ohh, you did?" the man asked curious. "y-yeah,i did. i'm (y/n). what's yours?" i asked. the man smiled more, "my name is mark" he said. i noticed one of his eyes is brown and the other is black with blue and red in it. "is your eye ok?" i asked. "yeah" mark said simply. i nodded, i noticed mark staring at me which made me blush madly. "w-what?" i asked. "you wanna see something cool?" mark asked smiling. "u-um...sure" i said. "ok, first you come in the water with me" mark said a bit sternly. i did as told and got into the water, i suddenly got a nagging feeling but ignored it. "so what do you have to show me?" i asked. mark then lifted his legs up but they were not legs at all...they were fins! "y-you're a..." i said. "a merman, yeah" mark finished my sentence. he suddenly splashed me with water, i laughed and splashed him back. we played around for a bit, "lets go a bit deeper" mark said. "i can't" i said. "why not?" mark asked. "cause i have to go home in a bit" i said. mark frowned a bit before he smiled, "coooommmee onnn, (y/n). just for a little bit then you can go home~" mark said in a low sexy voice. i blushed deeply and said without thinking, "o-ok". this made mark smile more and it made my head scream 'NO!' and "GO HOME NOW!' but ignored them and went to the deep end with mark. we played around for a bit more, "you know, (y/n) it was nice knowing you. you're a good girl" mark said suddenly. "mark, what are yo-" before i could finish mark pushed me under. i held my nose and closed my eyes but instead of coming up, i was held down deeper i couldn't breath. i opened my eyes and saw mark looking at me, i noticed his "gills" on his tail were actually eyes and he had sharp teeth. "goodbye (y/n)" he before he bit my neck HARD. i gasp and tried to pull him off but i suddenly felt tired and closed my eyes and felt myself slip away.
