Crush

It all started in third grade he saw her and he was amazed. They didn't talk much but still she knew of him. His mum got sick and died his dad didn't take it well and pushed him away. He was a mummy's boy so it was hard on him as well. She was there for him when he was upset and cared for him like a good 7 year old would. Cut to high school and they are still close. Her parents divorced and she's stuck with her mum and stepdad who hate her .  She feels like no one has ever loved her and he reassures her that he will always love her . There lives were going well for two teenagers in this crazy world. Until he fell sick  like his mother and was told he had little time left until he'll die. He kept it a secret always saying he was feeling a little off when she asked him at school. He was in the hospital but whenever she wanted to come over he would go to his house and wait. He told the hospital that if I'm going to die then I'm not going to do it here. He was moved back to his house so he wouldn't die at the hospital .She found out when he had about a day left  the first thing she did was run to him. When she finally found them in there special spot by the lake where they always used to meet when they  were kids first thing she did was scream at him.
"WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME, YOU'VE KNOWN FOR WEEKS AND YOU DIDN'T  TELL ME" she screamed with tears ruining down her face.
For the first time he realised that she might actually care for him. I mean of course he knew she cared but really cared. She had fallen for him but was scared to admit it. When she stopped screaming she just cried. She fell onto her knees and cried.  Whispering he said
"You'll be fine no matter what your going to be okay."
She looked up at her like he was crazy. Just as she was about to start screaming at him again he kissed her. It felt like the whole world stopped as he did that. He finally pulled away and she just looked at him until she finally asked
"Why did you do that"
"If it's my final day on this earth I'm going to kiss the girl I've loved since third grade"
"You love me" she asked just above a whisper
" always have always will" he replied strongly
She smiled up at him and was about to say something he would of loved but before she could he said
"I don't want to hear it back, I know you do so don't say it back"
After that they went back to his bed in hospital. He was moved back as it got more serious.
"Come with me to the forest my mum used to take me to. That's were I want to go for my last moments."
So that's what they did they went to they went to the forest and just sat there. The hospital crew stayed back knowing that the two of them would want privacy. His dad wasn't there he couldn't watch his son die. He understood that he wasn't mad about it they said their goodbyes. So the two of them just  sat on the tree trunk that had fallen. Waiting for that moment where he would take his last breath. It finally came the time where they needed to say goodbye.
"This might be the end of my story but it's not the end of yours. Do well in life okay don't sit around. Live , laugh and love please if you want me to live on then do all of these things."
"Remember, remember I love you"
And with that he took his last breath and she lost the only person she's ever truly loved
