Warmth, Warm cool breeze feels the air as the sun begins to rise over the resting lands in Japan. The birds begin to wake as the sunlight hits their nest, as their young begin to chirp songs of new day dawn. The trees shed their golden leaves as the swift winds begin to blow through the air leaving trails of fallen leaves along the sidewalks. The early smelly trash truck begins to collect the trash cans along the small complex circle, suddenly a leaf blows in front of the truck up to a second-floor window of an apartment.
In that apartment sleeps a young girl, that young girl is no other than Maiya Monkuri. As the sunlight begins to shine in the room begins to feel with life, awakening her pet bunny Oscar. Oscar begins to look around his cage as the light begins to reach all the way up to the dresser reflecting light upon a picture frame. Inside that picture frame was a photo of her day she became a member of Team sixteen of the Heaven of Lightning's guardians. As Maiya begins to open her eyes she gazes up at her room's ceiling, "Good Morning world" she says to her self as she suddenly hears thuds coming from her window. Maiya gives a quick yawn as she slightly rolls over on her side to see what was causing the knocking noise. Shocking when Maiya slightly looked out the window she sees a guardian from the heaven of lightning Ms. Kanna of the undead along with the surviving Sakura Carla of the original Sakuras. Maiya looks at them hiding her face behind her blinds, she thought maybe they would go away if she didn't reply or make any noise. Maiya quietly closes her blinds and roles back over in her bed, at that moment she heard "Please young ms theirs something we need to discuss with you in a civilized manner" as Ms.Kanna. While laying in her bed she begins to close her eyes for a moment.. suddenly hearing a strange noise outside her window. Oscar begins to hear the strange noise and takes shelter inside his cage, Boom!! A large explosion erupts from the side of the bedroom, forcing Maiya's eyes to open wide in shock. "WAKE UP MORON" yells Carla, I'm a very busy person and I need to be in bed within the next hour. "CARLA!!" yells Maiya in frustration, how am I suppose to explain this to my Uncle, or worse the neighbors asks Maiya as she gets up from her bed. Well, I guess we're on the same page now aren't we replied Carla in a calm matter, the orange sunlight then shines on Carla's yellow-toned skin and bright green hair. Moments later knocks come from Maiya's bedroom door, Maiya then gets a thrilling chill up her spine as she turns and faces her door in terror. Carla then walks and takes a look into Oscars' cage as Maiya approaches her door in caution, turning the doorknob slowly. Once Maiya fully opened the door it wasn't who she thought it was it was no more than Ms. Kanna, Greetings and good morning young Monkuri your uncle has prepared a breakfast meal for you downstairs says Ms.Kanna. -_- Maiya begins to take a deep breath and asked "what did they want early this morning with her?", "O yes very well Lord Johakin has assigned a task for you and your team" explains Ms. Kanna in her proper Language. Maiya began to feel a little joy of seeing the team together again, So does that mean Captain Hankiro has recovered from his injuries asked Maiya in a concerned look. "Yes, Hankiro has recovered just fine, just a little sick under the weather but however he's on another quest at the moment" explains Kanna.
Location: Snowy Mountains, Job: Assistant of Instructors
As an instructor is talking giving tips as the climb the mountains, AHCHOO!! Hankiro unleashes a very loud sneeze causing the mountains to echo and start a massive avalanche. Someone must be talking about me he says to himself as the freezing cold snow begins to wash them down the mountains.
Back in Japan
Well, what about Sokai, is he back from his training ask Maiya, "I'm afraid not" answers Kanna as Carla picks up Oscar from his cage. Well, how exactly is my team suppose to do this task asked Maiya. Carla begins to make a chuckling sound behind them, suddenly a light bulb clicked on for Maiya. "No! please tell me you didn't do what I think you did Ms. Kanna?" please begged Maiya. "Indeed I have applied to be the substitute for guardian captain of team sixteen" replied Kanna with a smile on her face. "Oh how amazing, this feeling is to be your trainer and Captain, we could train while during the job" explained Ms.Kanna as she had always dreamed of the day. Maiya's jaw drops wide open in hopelessness as Carla begins to burst out laughing "Oh boy this is just too good" says Carla. Worried about her journey Maiya had thought of something else, asking "who else is being placed on this team I don't know about" asked Maiya. Carla told Maiya to relax as she looked as if she was about to panic attack, some boy from the Eastern Heavens with stone fist offered his services since he was here in town they explained.
"He kept on talking about a favor he owed you or something" explained Carla, Maiya's face lit up with joy. "Wow, Bullet is here in Japan that is great, awesome I haven't seen him in forever," said Maiya. "So who else did you get?" asked Maiya, I believe his name is Chimba, he seemed hungry for a quest explained Kanna. At that moment Maiya began to think about the first time she arrived at the Heaven of lightning and met Hankiro, Chimba, and Sokai. However, at that moment, "I thought Chimba doesn't like Violence or dangerous situations" said Maiya, "Who said this has anything to do with violence" asked Carla. Once everything had been told Ms. Kanna told Maiya to go and clean her self up and then they would be on their way to the heaven of lightning tower. As Maiya looked at her self in her blue pajamas wondering how this day was gonna go, she suddenly looks at the picture on the dresser. She puts on a smile and heads for the Shower feeling ready to see what was going to go on. Feeling as if she forgot something Maiya comes running back into her room, "Your not of the hook that easily you better fix my wall because if I go down I'm taking you with me" demands Maiya. Carla just looked at Maiya and told her "Yea yea don't worry I'll fix your perfect little wall but if you would have just opened the window we wouldn't have had this problem".
