Chapter one

Chapter One

It was dark outside in the town of Altretz. The streets still busy , like normal.

Karuki was walking down the busy road, going towards the grocery shop round the corner from his house.

He was 17 and he lived alone, he had black hair and not many friends, his hair was messy and covered one eye, he often got called a emo and bullied by everyone, but he didn't care. He lived life care free, sometimes wishing for a new life but never got one, his only friend lived in another country, and she was on a video game he would play. It was a online game everyone played.

He entered the store, about to buy some food for tonight's gaming snacks.

He paid the store clerk and began to walk out, as soon as he walked out he felt a strange sensation.

Like a pulse of energy happened to hit him like a truck but he wasn't hurt and he didn't feel any different, so he carried on walking towards his house, as soon as he got to the ally he walked down to get to the shop he disappeared from the real world (earth) and got transported into a new world, falling from the sky , he was in the clouds, a bag of food and drink in his hands. He looked down realising it wasn't a dream and started panicking, he held onto his bag of food and drinks and took off his hoodie, trying to use it as a parachute, he saw the floor in the middle of a huge medieval type of town, he panicked as he didn't want to die just yet.

He aimed his feet at the floor and all of a sudden he boosted up, all the force of him going down now going up, he then dropped back down a lot slower and hit the floor feet first, he didn't fall but landed stood up, he was questioning what had happened and then realised this wasn't earth, as a dragon flew overhead , there was a street in front of him made of dirt, but you could hardly see it as the amount of horses and carriages and ... animals that he didn't know of were pulling people around.

He had no idea what was going on, then all of a sudden he began to realise what had happened and came to the conclusion he had been summoned into a new world to be a hero to save someone or something, all of a sudden a girl fell over while crossing the road, a carriage about to run her over.

There was no physical way he could get to her in time but he had to try, someone screamed as they saw what happened and the carriage was too slow and couldn't slowdown in time.

Karuki saw the girl on the road and ran, he wanted to save her even though he didn't know her, his agility on earth were better then everyone else's, he ran but it wasn't running . he boosted forward faster than anything he ever had and he was there with the girl, he picked her up and attempted to run forward again , he dashed instead though, like he did last time, reaching the other side of the road where it was safe, people looked at him in astonishment. He safely put the girl on her feet and as she looked in fear and shock, but inside she was happy.

The guard ran over to the area she nearly got hit, asked her if she was okay and she couldn't reply because of the shock. Karuki looked and people we're cheering, but he didn't know what just happened , he saw a ally way and began to run to it, this time running instead of actually boosting.

He got to the ally and began to panic, he didn't know what he just did, but he knew it was something that shouldn't of been possible, and he felt amazing doing it. He carried on walking down the ally, to where a group of 4 muggers appeared, Karuki carried on walking as they approached him, one was fat and heavy , another small and skinny, another slim and tall, and ones muscles bigger then the small one's head. They pushed Karuki against a wall , cornering him as the tall slim one pulled a thin blade, Karuki had saw the blade and then didn't move, he had frozen as he could be killed, they told him to hand over his items, he wasn't one to do that sort of thing and he told them that they could have something, he looked at the big one first and then he uppercut him, sending him flying upwards, the tall slim guy began to strike Karuki with the knife when a ball of ice froze him, it came from the other side of the ally, a girl with long dark purple hair stood there, a mage type it seemed, the other two guys ran trying to escape, when the girl shot two more balls of ice at them, freezing them fully over. She ran over asking if Karuki had seen a girl carrying a golden necklace with a jem in the middle of the amulet, Karuki had to tell her that he hadn't seen someone with one but for saving him from the muggers he would happily help the girl try to find the girl with the necklace she was talking about. The girl said she had only done to to ask if he had seen the amulet , however she was very appreciative that he would come to help her attempt to find the amulet.

He introduced himself as Karuki , she had told him her name was stella. They went together out of the allies and into the road's , in search of the amulet.
